Restoring Power

I see beauty and it's pushing me away.
My viewpoint transitions to static, it is so grey.
My heart is here but my conscience doesn't want to stay.
God, please tighten connections where flaws lay.
My circuits have been overheated and overplayed.
These gears of sanity thrash, leaving components frayed.
No longer rotating with the flow of my faith.
So powerfully drained, yet I remember to take things day by day.
Logic told me bad things were written only to be erased.
An inverted pencil putting the pessimist to waste.
Dispose of the danger that our own mind creates.
Pray to our angels and you will awake.
Then everyone shall see beauty in its infinite ways.
