I feel the erosion of this new emotion;
Pure pleasure, but so lost.
I pray today that I escape no matter the cost.
My thoughts have been altered and my heart has been tossed.
Irregular beats as I'm trying to sleep with nothing to eat and the process repeats, I sneeze and I cough.
Suddenly sick and I'm falling while hoping the landing is soft.
Instincts followed the path of my compass until the needle fell off.
Losing direction in this section of life that I've crossed;
This force is so cold and it's gripping my senses with frost.
This force is so cold that I feel like the time has been paused;
But I'm here in this form of a mortal I breath, temptation aloft.
Slithering closer to friends but I refuse to let them take the loss.
We battle together, side by side, grinding our teeth with locked jaws.
We feel the erosion of this new emotion;
Pure pleasure, but so lost.
Life is pleasure, but when the pleasure is sin do we choose to defeat the cause?By: Dayne M. Rohn
