That same tuesday afternoon:
I was sitting in this hot ass car waiting on Jason and T'knock to come back from delivering those bags. I don't know why they had me park all the way down here but I really didn't care I just know I had to hurry up and pump some gas In this motherfucker so I can put the ac on damn I hate being hot. Them boys left a little over thirty minutes ago; I looked at the clock and sighed. "Damn thirty minutes to drop off some damn bags?"
I laid my head back on the headrest and wiped the sweat off my forehead when a call came in on my phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello, hey little cousin". A girl’s voice answered.
"Little cousin? Who’s this?"
"Damn why I gotta tell you who this is? You don't recognize my voice pork chop? I just seen you the other day"
It took me a couple seconds to think who it was. Then I realized only one person out the family called me pork chop and I hated being called that. “Oooooh! Hey cuz what up?"
"Nothing? Why you ain't got my number saved, I told you I had them stacks for you today to get it flipped". She said
“my bad I had to reboot this phone and all my contacts got deleted but don't worry I got you" I said saving her number as she continued to talk.
My cousin was dope girl up in west palm. She was the only girl in that clique 'west palm boys'. Every time I would be in west palm she would always throw me a couple stacks so I can flip it. I was good at flipping money when it came to them dice games it wasn't no joke either I played dice with them big boys down in North Lauderdale, niggas that'll shoot you point blank between the eyebrows if they felt cheated, she would usually give me three stacks and I would usually play and come back with nine sometimes even ten grand and she would slide me a part out of it.
"Yea so where you at right now? West palm?” She asked
"Yea I'm up here almost blocks away from Uncle Elroy's house". I said wondering how she knew I was up here, maybe Erika's big mouth ass told her, bitch can't hold water for shit.
"Oh ok cool, well I'm up here too, where you at so I can drop these stacks down to you?"
"I'm down here parked by some buildings, by a barbershop I think". I said looking around hoping to find a building I recognized.
"Yea? The one by the subway?" she asked.
"Yea, oh yea by the subway!" I said surprised as I looked to right and actually seen a subway. "But I'm heading to the gas station once Jason and T'knock come back".
"Oh where they went?" She abruptly asked.
"They went to go-. I almost spilled the beans when I had to catch myself. -they went to go get them something to eat" I choked.
"Y'all went to go get something to eat all the way in west palm?" She asked suspiciously.
"Yea we had been up here since this morning playing ball with one of Jason's cousins and we just now heading back". I stuttered
I mean even though I'm new to the game and I knew my cousin longer than I knew these cats I couldn't rat them out like that. I mean when you start to get money ain't no trusting nobody anymore not even family and I ain't tryna have them slice my neck wide open just for tellin a bitch what the drop off was for.
"Oh ok so you say you bout to head to the gas station right cousin?"
"Yea at the shells in a couple of minutes, you might as well meet me over there"
