Kurapika is gender fluid, he can dress as what would be considered a boy or what would be considered a girl and pull it off either way.
He lost a bet to Leorio once and had to wear a dress for the night, make up etc, they went to a bar because Leorio wanted to and Kurapika didnt trust his to go alone, not after last time.... (yes they are over 21 at this point) and people kept buying his drinks.
But Leorio would end up drinking then , Kurapika was just there for the cherries at the end of the bar.
