Continuation on the previous iron stomach, so the reason Gon has such an iron stomach because his Aunt Mito would always try new dishes and not all of them were successes...
He ate every last bite so that he didnt hurt her feelings. So now he feels like he can eat anything. He would also eat random things in the surrounding forest when Aunt Mito wasnt looking..... so that helped too....
