*Avery's P'O'V'*
"Mom... This is Jacob. My boyfriend." I mumbled pulling back. She raised an eyebrow and tapped her foot against the ground. Typical.
"Why didn't I know about this?" She answered in a breath. I let out a sigh and bit my lip.
"Well.. it's because I knew you'd act like this." I stuttered, hanging onto Jacob. She let out a sigh and smiled slightly.
"Ugh. I'm sorry. I know I can be like this. I'm happy for you." She smiled as she looked us over. I let out a breath of relief and snuggled my face into Jacob's neck.
"Thank you Mrs. Willows." Jacob grinned as he glanced up at her. She nodded in reply and smiled again.
"Just take care of her. Don't hurt her." She said, her tone turning serious. Jacob nodded quickly, rubbing my back. I let out a shaky sigh an shut my eyes. Things worked out after all. Suddenly, the door bell rang. I heard my mother run to go catch the person at the door. I lifted my face from Jacob's neck and smiled at him.
"Avery, Avery, Avery. I love you." He whispered before touching his lips gently to mine. I felt my cheeks burn bright red as I slowly kissed back.
As he slowly pulled back, i whispered under my uneven breath, "I love you Jacob.. so much.." He smiled warmly and pulled me into his lap, turning on the tv. I yawned loudly, remembering how tired I was. He stroked my cheek softly with the pad of his tumb and buried his face in my hair. Soon, I just shut my eyes and fell fast asleep.

The loud slam of the lockers startled me as I walked into the school. I mumbled under my breath as I trudged over to my puke green locker. The squeak of my wet sneakers following my every step.
"Stupid freaking rain." I grumble angrily under my breath as I twisted the combanation in for my locker. Someone chuckled next to me and I glanced over to see it was Johanna.
"Oh hey Jo." I sighed, throwing my stuff into my locker. She lifted her head up to me and leaned back against the lockers. I quickly grabbed my stuff for homeroom and tied up my soaking wet hair. I let out another grumble and curled back against my locker waiting for Jacob. Soon, the homeroom bell rang and Jacob, surprisingly didn't show up. Johanna had ended up furrowing her eyebrows and tapping her foot unpatiently. I sighed and picked up my stuff and headed down the hall for homeroom.
As the door slammed behind me when I scooted into the room, I felt everyones eyes on me. I just smiled and walked to my seat setting my stuff onto my desk. Some of those eyes were boys. I just rolled my eyes. They were just founding out who I was because of Jacob and now they are acting like puppies, drooling all over me like I was a piece of meat. I sat down and opened up my book to a very worn out page.
A few moments later a chair screeched back next to me. I looked up to see it was Francis. Rolling my eyes, I went back to reading. Soon enough, as I knew he would, Francis plopped his big ol' ass on my desk and stretched his legs across to lay his feet on the desk next to him. I looked up from my book and gave him an annoyed look.
"May I help you?" I grumbled up at him as he smirked down at me.
"Yes, you may. I would like you to come to a party with me tonight." He wiggled his eyebrows at me at the end. I just rolled my eyes a nodded up my head.
"Sure. Why not? I have nothing else to do. Also, your Jacob's best friend so mise as well get to know you." I sighed and folded my book shut. I laid my hands on his leg and pushed him off of my desk. He grumbled and rolled his eyes and sat in the desk next to me.
A sudden woosh of air came into the room as the teacher entered. My arm erupted in goosebumps and I felt my body shiver. Francis threw his light grey sweatshirt in my face and I blinked in surprise. I looked over at him and raised an eyebrow. He kept his head down pretending to be reading. I let out a snort and rolled my eyes, sliding my arms into the sleeves of the jacket. It was warm and had a guyish smell to it. I tried pushing the sleevs up but they kept falling over my hands. Finally, I gave up and let them cover my hands.
