Liv//
I've been shoved into the lockers multiple times today. I'm really fed up with it. On the bright side, my memory is slowly returnng, with the help of Riley, Taylor, Julia and Josh. Bars and Melody blasted through my headphones; blocking out the world.
'Cause I'm hopeful, yes I am, hopeful for today
Take this music, and use it, let it take you away
And be hopeful, hopeful and he'll make a way
I know it ain't easy but, that's okay
Just be hopeful'
Not looking where I was going, I bumped into someone and fell onto my butt. Knowing my luck, it's probably not going to be someone I like. Surprise, surprise, it's Cameron HIMSELF! Round of applause for my awesome luck.
He was full on smirking at me. I don't see what his problem is with me.
"What!" I spat, coldly.
"Well, that was a rude hello. No 'I'm sooo sorry for bumping into Cameron?' hmm?" He tried to mimic my voice however failed miserably.
"How about 'Piss off, cow?' hmm?" I asked, sourly.
"Tsk tsk, where are your manners?" He smirked evilly.
"I have manners, however choose to not use them on you." I tried to walk away however he grabbed my arm.
"Where're you going?"
"Away from you, let me go!" I said, struggling to get out of his grip.
"No. Listen to me." He said, sternly.
"Why should I listen to you? You've been bullying me for over a week now! I'm sick of it! Just stay out of my life Cameron Brooks. STAY OUT!" I shouted, tears streaming down my face. I never cry. Ever. But well, now look at me.
Immediately, he let go, but I didn't move. We just stared intently into each other's eyes. It was only when Kannis started calling Cameron's name, I turned away and walked on.
Riley//
"But why?" I was so confused right now.
"Because what Cameron did was a prick move."
"So you want to help me?"
"Yup."
"How do I know this is not a set up." I questioned.
"Because," Alex started, "I don't want to see you suffer. I'm like...the brother you've always needed."
He held his hand out, I hesitated but shook it anyway.

The final bell went for the end of the day. It's all over! Or so I thought.
"Oof!" I grunted as my head hit the lockers. I looked at my predator who was clearly looking at me like its prey.
"Hey nerd." Chase smirked, broadly with Cameron and Kannis at his side. I ignored him, hoping it was the best idea to. Clearly not. Chase kicked my side since I was on the floor. I winced at the pain.
"I said, hey nerd!" He spat.
Not wanting to talk, I just looked up at him. Bitterness in my eyes.
"Can you talk or what?" Chase chuckled coldly, kicked my side again. Well, looks like I'm going to be in so much pain tomorrow.
"Talk!" He shouted. Chase was going to kick me again, but it never came. Instead a series of grunting, moaning.
"Open your eyes." A soft voice said.
I shook my head,"I don't want to." I felt a pair of arms pick me up. Slowly I opened my eyes to reveal 'my hero'.
Alex.
He smiled down at me, I smiled back. Curiously, I looked behind us. Chase was on the floor, Kannis to his side and blood coming out of his nose. Cameron had a mixture of shock, anger, regret in his eyes. I turned away and dug my head into Alex's chest while he cradled me out of the school.
Mikey//
Where's Riley? I'm so freaking worried! I've been pacing back and forth for about 30 minutes. Calum's still having a go at me because I didn't tell him what was really going on in school. To be honest, though, I couldn't care less. Luke and Liv have been home but they didn't bring Riley with them. They said they waited 10 minutes she hadn't come so they left, thinking she had already come home.
Obviously not. I'm freaking my tits off wondering where Riley is. I swear, I will kill the person who has hurt my baby girl.
*Ding Dong*
I sprinted to the door, almost smashing into it...Almost.
I opened to see a boy cradling Riley in his arms. "Good afternoon, Mr. Clifford." He said, politely.
"Hello, who might you be, if I may ask." I smiled.
"Alex. Alex McKay. Here's Riley. She's sleeping, don't worry." He smiled, looking down on her.
"Come on in, then, Alex." Calum-who I didn't know was behind me-grinned. I hope he's in a better mood now.
Alex//
"Can you talk or what?" I heard Chase say, then I heard another slam against the lockers and a whimper. Sneakily, I took a peak around the corner. Riley...
This is not happening. Quickly, I ran to him, "Talk!" He screamed and was about to kick Rie again however I got there first. My fist hit his nose, then his stomach multiple times. He didn't even get one hit. Kannis was at his side immediately and Cameron just stood there like an idiot.
I scoffed at him and then knelt down to Riley.
"Open your eyes" I asked, gently.
"No." She whimpered. I scooped her up into my arms and carried her home.

"So, Alex, how do you know Riley?" Mr. Clifford asked.
"Well, I met her from Cameron, actually sir." I nodded.
"You know you don't have to call him 'sir' or 'Mr. Clifford' right Alex?" Calum asked.
"Shhh! I like it!" Mr. Clifford waved his hand to Calum. I chuckled.
"Mikey?" I heard Liv's voice call, "Ashton needs to speak with-" She stopped as she looked at me.
"Why is HE here?" She asked, sourly.
"ALEX brought your sister home." Calum answered.
"I don't think you understand; Alex is friends with Cameron." Liv said.
"I don't think he wants to be friends with me any more." I mumbled, trying not to be noticed. But it didn't go unnoticed.
"Why?" Mr. Clifford asked.
"Because, Mr. Clifford, I didn't do what they did. Instead I protected her. I've never seen it happen before, Chase...Chase just--lost it. I did what I had to." I nodded.
"What did you do?" Liv asked, now intrigued.
"I punched his nose. I didn't look broken from where I was standing but, I can punch pretty hard when it comes to hurting people that don't deserve to be hurt." I admitted.
"You're a good kid."
"Thank you, Mr. Clifford."
"Please, call me Mike." He smiled.
