Today was the day of the party and, honestly I didn't wanna go for numerous reasons.

I stripped out of my clothes then took a fifteen minute shower. I fixed up my hair then went to get dressed.

Once I was dressed I threw on my shoes and did my make up a little bit and I waited for Jaquees to come pick me up. I waited a little while longer before I decided to just drive my own self.

As soon as I opened the door. There he stood about to knock. "Well aren't you an eager beaver". I gave him a straight face.

"No, you took too long so I was gonna drive myself". He laughed. But I was serious.

"Come let's go meanie". I smirked and rolled my eyes as I locked the door to my house and we got in his car to go to the party.

The drive wasn't too long. It was about 10 minutes.

As soon as we pulled up there was cars parking from all the way down the block.

"Wow" I mumbled as I looked ,more people were still walking towards her house.

"What? You never been to a party or something". I shook my head.

"Well aren't you in for a treat". We both laughed as he parked down the block from her house.

We then got out and we walked up to her house.

"I have no friends here" I stated randomly as we were almost close to the party.

"You got me" he smiled brightly. I rolled my eyes.

"Your freaking Jaquees. Somebody is bound to pull you away". He shrugged.

"Come with me then". I scrunched my face up.

"I don't wanna be the third wheel". He laughed.

"Well either that orr..meet some damn friends". I puffed, rolling my eyes once more.

"Fine". There was a slight pause as we walked up to the doors of the party.

"Oh and stop rolling your eyes for they get stuck". I mean mugged him as he smirked at me, walking through the door.

I rolled my eyes once again just to mentally annoy him.

When I walked in. All I saw were girls throwing themselves on guys, guys being thristy, weed, drinks, people dancing on each other, the whole sha-bang.

I flinched a bit as I saw one girl throw up cause she couldn't handle whatever drug or drink she had.

"Stop starring , come on. I got someone for you to meet". I nodded my head as he grabbed my hand and lead me to the back.

Once we got there I saw a guy who looked to be already in his 20's. Maybe in collage already.

"Laysia, meet my best friend Christain but you can call him Chris". I nodded as I smiled.

"Nice to meet you, Chris". He stood up and grabbed my hand, kissing it.

"Same to you beautiful". I blushed, smiling a bit.

Jaquees, Chris, and I began to just talk about stupid stuff as we had a few drinks. Soon, the music cut off and Veronica stood at the mic.

"First I wanna thank everyone that came out, even the people who weren't even invited" she paused as everyone laughed, but deep down I felt like that was meant for me.

"I also wanna thank my baby for helping me put this together. Babe stand up". Soon I felt the seat next to me shift and up stood Chris.

I don't know why but I felt sorry for him but a little upset? I don't know.

We all clapped for him. Some even cheered.

"Now let's turn up!!" She yelled in the mic and the music started back again as people cheered.

"You dating Veronica?" I asked. Still lowkey, didn't wanna believe it.

"Yup, I think I love her honestly". A side of me felt even more sorry for him , because he don't even know what his "girl" be doing when he not around.

So instead I smiled. And said what everyone tells a couple. "Well y'all are cute together" I told him.

He smiled. "Thanks". I was then looking around for Jaquees when I spotted him with some girl dancing on him.

A scowl came on my face as I watched. Only for me to realize what I was doing. I face palmed myself.

"Why lord". I mumbled to myself.

The party went on for hours. It was 4:49 in the morning and it was just now starting to die down.

"It was nice meeting you Chris". I smiled as I hugged him.

"You too ma, we should hang out sometime". I nodded my head.

"Bet. What's your number?" He gave me his number then I walked away to go find Jaquees.

As I was walking I heard moaning and groaning behind a door.

I creaked it open to see him fucking some girl . I couldn't see cause she was facing the other way.

"Jaquees come on, you my ride". I honestly didn't wanna Burst His bubble but he was my ride and we needed to get home.

"Man, leave me the fuck alone. You annoying as fuck. Just walk. Damn". He said as he continued what he was doing.

I starred at him. Contemplating if I should slap the dreads out his head but instead. I slammed the door and did what he said and carried my "Annoying ass" home.

The walk was a good 30 minutes. Only because I made a stop to the store to buy some water And asprin. I had a huge headache.

Once I got home I plopped on the couch and fell straight asleep
