Avery:

When I woke up, I truly felt disgusting. I was sweating, my head throbbed, and my cheek stung. "Ouch." I muttered. Then the day came flooding back. "That..." I couldn't think of a horrible enough word to describe Cameron. But how did I get in my bed? For now, I shrugged it off and turned. When I finally opened my eyes, I screamed. "Holy Crap!" I shrieked, as I was met with Kian Lawley's face, inches from mine.

"Oh.." He said, just waking up. He sat up and flinched away from me.

"What? How?" I was beyond confused.

"Uh... your douche of a boyfriend, like knocked you out. So I brought you up here..." He scratched the back of his neck.

"He's not my boyfriend." I shoved off the bed.

"Whatever." He snapped.

"Why are you here?" I sneered, my tone just as mean as his.

"I don't know.." He muttered, now getting off the bed as well.

"Ok then." I raised my eyebrows, walking to my bathroom. When I looked in the mirror, I almost screamed again. "Wow." I said, poking at my red, swollen cheek. It looked like a bubble. "Not good!" I huffed, turning on the water. Once it was warm, I cupped my hands and splashed it on my face. It stung a little, but felt good too.

After I washed my face, I went back into my room. I was surprised when Kian was still there. I rolled my eyes, but decided to just ignore him. I picked out a pair of my Pink leggings and a white sweatshirt. Then went back into my bathroom to change. Again when I went back into my room, Kian was laying on my bed. "Ok. You can leave now!"

"Why?" He smirked. "Do I scare you?" He was trying to but honestly, the look he had in his eyes made me laugh.

"In your dreams!" I snorted, picking up my phone. I laid down the bed next to him, and clicked the home button. "Woah! It's 4:27."

"Yep." He said. I zoned out, is my Dad home? I hopped up from the bed, leaving my phone. "Where you going, babe?"

I laughed again. "Not your babe. And checking if my Dad's home." I placed my hand on the door handle and pulled. It squeaked, and I froze. But after a second I untensed and stepped out into the hall.

I tiptoed to my Dad's room and opened the door, luckily it didn't squeak. I looked at his bed. Empty. In his bathroom. Empty. I decided to check the kitchen just to be sure. I quickly descended from the stairs and went straight to the island. As I thought, there was a note.

Aves,
I had a really early meeting this morning, so I decided to leave extra extra early for it! Good news is, I might get a raise. Sorry honey, have a great day. Probably won't be back till late again.
Love, Dad

"Love you too." I sighed. I crumpled up the note, and shoved it in the trash. The floor creaked behind me, so I whirled around. "Oh my god! Kian, I forgot you were here." I breathed.

"Hmm.." He smirked, it looked evil.

"What?" I asked.

"Why don't we ditch school today!?" He smiled, I shook my head.

"I don't think so. I have a record, you know." I stared at him.

"Oh come on!" He walked up to me, and snaked his arms around my waist. I tried to pull away, but he had an iron grip. "It'll be fun." He brought his lips to my neck, making me shiver.

That distracted him enough for his grip to loosen, so I could escape. "No. You might be able to.." I trailed off, was this a mistake? Ehh, what could happen? "Stay for breakfast, but I'm going to school."

"Ooh. I'll take you up on that." He took a seat at the island. "What's on the menu?"

I opened our cupboard. "Um.. we have pop tarts, toaster strudels, and microwave waffles. Plus I can make toast and eggs!" I exclaimed, proud of myself.

"How about a pop tart?" He laughed, it was light. I'd never seen Kian, this... I don't know.. free?

"Sure." Now I was distracted.

Honestly, I think the whole Bad Boy act, is just that. An act. He does it for the attention. I mean he has girls everyday, no every hour. Purely popularity. I bet the real Kian, is sweet and funny. I mean sure he's hot, but looks are not everything. To me at least. The ding of the toaster pulled me from my thoughts. I tore off 2 sheets of paper towel from the roll, and set the warm pop tarts on them.

"Here you go, sir!" I smiled, setting his breakfast in front of him.

"Thank you ma'am!" He smiled back, chomping into it.

I also ate, more speedily. In fact, I was finished before him, easily. When we both had only crumbs left, we threw the paper towels away, and headed back to my room. To be honest, if you had told me this was going to happen yesterday. I would have looked at you like you were crazy.

I detested Kian. He was exactly the type of person I stayed away from. But somehow I ended up here, and I'm not gonna get in the way of destiny. Who knows, maybe something good will happen.

------------------------------

After awhile of chilling upstairs, Kian somehow managed to get all my usernames on social media and my number. Go figure. He was so sweet, I mean it was unbelievable. I had never ever seen this side of Kian. I'm not going to lie, I loved it.

I glanced at the clock. "Time to go!" I smiled, jumping up and grabbing my bag. He also hopped up.

"Yeah, come on. I'll give you a ride today." He offered, linking our arms as we walked to his car.

"Ok!" I knew my emotional high would come crashing down soon, I had been holding in the whole Cam thing. But for now, I brushed it off, and hopped in the front seat of Kian's car.

"We have to make a quick stop. " Kian informed me.

"Where?" I asked, only half interested in the answer.

"My house. I can't go to school in yesterday's clothes. What would people say?" As soon as he said the last part, I nearly had a stroke.

What were people going to say?
