The funeral was hard. I decided to not wear make-up. Which was a good idea because I ended up bawling my eyes out as Darcy held me. We watched my mom get lowered into her grave. Auntie Sarah. Uncle Stanly, and my dad were crying in a group triangle. Stacy and Boston were crying holding each other. My new group of friends were all sitting on the ground trying not to cry, but trying to comfort me at the same time.
Beau, Luke, Jai, Ari, Amber, and Gina were all standing in the grass with tears in their eyes. Ari and Amber didn't know my mom, but they still came. They know how much this hurts, seeing as everyone around me is crying...
Their has to be over 350 people here. Every once in a while people would come up to me and give me a hug saying 'sorry for your loss'. I would nod and we'd moved on.
But now they were burying my mom. Stacy started pulling on my dress, and I pulled away from my grip on Darcy and picked her up. She cried into my shoulder, realizing what was going on. I'm not going to lie, Stacy was the smartest 4 year old I know. Boston walked towards Darcy, who picked him up. He cried into her shoulder as she rubbed patterns into his back. Darcy had a thing with kids, she always made them feel better. Once she met Stacy and Boston she become like a sister to them. She's going to be a great mom one day...
I felt water hit my face, and looked up to see it had started raining. People started clearing the cemetery. Darcy was staying the night at mine again, along with Dustin and Nancy. The younger kids would share the 3rd floor, as Darcy and I would be on the 2nd. My dad, Auntie Sarah, and Uncle Stanly would be on the forth.
As soon as everyone cleared it was just a small group of people.
Auntie Sarah was holding Stacy and Uncle Stanly was holding Boston.Beau, Luke, Ari, and Jai were all around me. Gina was talking to my dad. Darcy was standing beside Luke, as they talked. They'd make a cute couple...
I pushed past Jai and Beau and ran towards my moms grave and collapsed in front of it. My white dress would be dirty now, but I didn't care.
"Tell Danny I said hi." I chocked out resting my head in my hands. "I love you mom." I felt arms wrap around my waist as I cried into their shoulder. I looked up to see Beau, to notice he was about to cry to. That only made me cry more. I shoved my head into his chest, just wanting to disappear....

"Eva come quick!" Auntie Sarah yelled from the bathroom. She had went to the store earlier and rushed into the bathroom, after the funeral. I sighed walking out of my game room where Gary, Sasha, Beau, Luke, Darcy, Jai, Ari, Amber, Stacy, and Boston were all sitting watching Sponge Bob.. We are such kids. I swear.
I ran down the stairs to the downstairs bathroom where I found my grinning aunt. Her grin could not get bigger. I hesitantly walked into the bathroom seeing her holding something in her hand. I looked at it carefully to see it was a pregnancy test.
Wait what?
A PREGNANCY TEST?!
"Are you?!" I questioned jumping up and down. She nodded pointing at all 5 of the tests. Usually people do 2 or 3 tests but she does this to make sure its more accurate. I looked over all them.
Positive.
Positive.
Positive.
Positive.
Positive.
I squealed hugging my aunt. "Congratulations! Oh auntie Sarah I'm going to-" She cut me of by placing a hand over my mouth.
"Shh, I don't want the others to know yet. It's going to be a surprise, will you come to all my appointments with me?" She questioned releasing her hand from my mouth. I smiled nodding quickly. She chuckled hugging me. "This is amazing Eva. I'm so excited. The kids wanted another sibling. Oh!" We started acting like kids in a candy store, getting to choose whatever we wanted.
That's my aunt and I for you.
My aunt quickly collected all the tests and put them in a bag, carrying them to the attic. I followed her just to see where she was going to put them. We climbed up all the stairs and ended up at the very top of the house. I've never been up here before... I followed her across the floor, which was covered in a golden color of wood. The walls were white, but had paint splattered all over them. Their were boxes, useless old stuff, and junk all over the place. Everything was pushed back against the walls. But one thing that stood out was a treasure chest. It wasn't big, it was actually small. Auntie Sarah and I walked over to it. She squatted down and turned the dial on the treasure chest and slowly lifted it up. I gasped as I seen what was inside.
Their was old coins, old game boards, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and an old outfit.
"What's the outfit?" I asked quietly.
Auntie Sarah looked at me, as a smile danced across her lips. "It was your great great grandma's party gown when she was your age. Your dad's side, she died after she had her last child. This dress was passed down through out the family. Everyone that had the first daughter in that family would get the dress, so when I was born I got the dress. But when you were born I gave the dress to you, because I wasn't sure if I would have a daughter or not. And plus you loved dresses and jewelry and stuff like that, and I never really cared for this stuff. And plus Stacy doesn't like dresses." She stated placing the pregnancy tests into the treasure test. She closed it and turned the dial, so it wont open back up again.
I smiled giving her a big hug, "Thank you Auntie Sarah." I whispered kissing her cheek. She smiled grabbing my hand and pulling me all the way to the kitchen.
Uncle Stanly and my dad were cooking dinner. They are the best cooks ever I swear! Although they are cooking for 14 people.. So their was a lot of food! No wait 15, because Gina is coming over! So practically they are cooking for 25 people because we are pigs!
"What you cooking guys?" I asked. My dad whipped around looking startled.. He must not of heard Auntie Sarah and I come in....
"Taco's, pizza, chicken, and potatoes." Uncle Stanly said peeling some potatoes.
"Pizza is in the oven, taco's are being prepared, half the potatoes are in, and chicken is starting to cook as well. Dinner should be ready in about an hour." Dad said returning to cooking. I've noticed he's been doing more work to take his mind off of mom... I don't blame him though, they always did everything together.
I nodded running back to my game room to see that they were still watching Sponge Bob. I rolled my eyes throwing pillows at them. Everyone was shouting insults at me and I just giggled. I made a run for my room when Luke got up, he seriously looked angry. I had made it in front of my door when Luke jumped on me, taking us both down. I groaned as impact came.
"Slut." I grunted trying to elbow him, but failing miserably. He laughed jumping up and helping me up. I walked over to my bed and laid down, he laid beside me.
"We haven't talked in ages." Luke mumbled looking at my ceiling, which now had posters all over. Yeah I put posters on my ceiling... I don't trust them on my wall because then anyone can reach them!
"I know right." I replied giving his hand a small squeeze. He looked over at me and smiled.
"Remember the first day you and I hung out alone?" He questioned intertwining our fingers together.
"The day we got kicked out of the store for playing the penis game right?" I asked laughing at the memory.
"Yeah and when we ran through the fountain of water, completely wet. People gave us strange looks for the rest of the day and all you did was laugh." He said chuckling slightly.
I giggled. "And we also did the cinnamon challenge. That was terrible. I couldn't breathe you thought I was dying. You seriously were about to start hitting my back. It was funny though." I seen a smile come across his lips and he gave my hand a gentle squeeze.
"We went to the park and we stole little kids shoes. Well we didn't really steal them, we took them than returned them." I laughed as he continued, "And then the parents would threaten to call the police if we didn't leave."
"One lady hit you with her purse." I said remembering that time. "Then an old guy hit you with his cane."
"We promised each other no matter what happens we'd always be friends." He whispered looking at me. I looked at him smiling.
"Best friend's forever?" I asked holding up my pinkie. He grinned linking his pinkie with mine.
"Forever."
