I couldn't believe it; I was shocked to my core as I saw that the detective that strode through the golden doors was none other than Zach Grey, head of homicide, also known as: my boss. No wonder the chief called me in to take the case, he must have had his suspicions. He wasn't lying when he said we couldn't trust anyone. I would bet that he didn't want Zach assigning the case to Eric. I waited and watched as the scene unravelled in front of me. The CCTV coverage would link them all to the briefcase. Although inside I was seething, I also found time to gloat. Iustitia could have them all except one.
