Chapter 16: A Surprise?

You opened your eyes to see a blur. You focused to see Ten Ten standing over you with a hot soft towel on your head. "W-where am I?" You said in a slight stutter not sure what happened to you. Why do I always end up like this? You thought to your self as the girl replied, "your in Nejis place" She said with worry and a slight smirk, implying something. You just have her a look as you sat up slowly. "I don't care, we both know what your actually thinking, look I've got to go for a mission but just made sure your ok. See you in a week or 2," she said with a beaming smile, and walked out the door. Neji walked in as he heard you were up.

Neji walked up to you with concern. "Hey, I would have dropped you at your house but it was all a panic we wanted to make sure you were ok," he said without taking his eyes off you. I lov- you were cut off from your thoughts, "when you are able to walk and feel much better I have a surprise for you," he said as his smirk grew bigger spreading across his face. "Is it a nice one?" It was silent. "I think it is," he smirk disappeared. What is it?

You were left in a room when you could smell something... Amazing! You had gained your strength back, you stood up shakily but got your balance back and walked down the stairs slowly. Come on! I need to know what that smell is. You tried to rush your body down the stairs, but it didn't end well.
You foot didn't cooperate with you and you began to fall down the stairs. You closed your eyes tightly to not see what was coming but then you felt something soft wrap around your body like a snake. You owned your eyes to see Nejis arms around you. "You had not gained your strength yet," he said with a slight laughter in his voice. You smiled a looking down blushing, realising where you were. He picked you up and put you on the soft couch and gave you the remote. "I was just making breakfast, I was gonna bring it up to you but since your down here." He walked over with 2 plates in his hands of toasted waffles and golden syrup poured on top. *Sniff* that's the amazing smell you could sense earlier. He smiled as he placed it in front of you, then sat next to you with his. "This is your favourite?" He said looking at you. You nodded as you replied a sweet "thank you, Neji". I've never had someone treat me like this before. He is so sweet I think I'm in lov- you were cut off by your train of again by Neji, "wanna watch a film?" You nodded as he flicked through picking a flim. You didn't care what film he choice, you
were just happy to be with him. "I feel so much better now Neji, so you think you would wanna tell me that surprise now?" He just laughed as he carried on watching the film and eating. "Ok, I'll show you today but not until midnight. Deal?" You thought for a moment and came up with your answer, "well, if that's the earliest you'll budge, OK haha" you sat talking with him for what like 10 mins but was really 3 hours. Time flys by when I'm with him. But at the same time the day dragged out so much, it let like for ever could have passed by the time it would have reached midnight.
"Are we going somewhere?" You asked

"You could say that,"

"Well should I get dressed up?"

"Get dressed up nice but warm" he said with a growing smirk on his face. Warm? I wonder what it is?
