Cover Story (Slow Updates)

Chapter 5

Kimi

Kakashi appeared, got yelled at by Sakura and Naruto, and made a lame excuse about why he was late. He then proceeded to ramble through the direction about the bell test before he finally put two and two together and asked a very intelligent question. "Hey, where is Kimi?

"Kimi? Kimi is on our team?" I didn't know that she passed the graduation exam." Sakura said looking amazed and confused.

At this point, Kakashi looked nervous, probably wondering if I was with Ibiki or if he was supposed to have me. I let out a soft bout of giggles to let Kashi 
know I was here and that he didn't lose me.

Team seven's eyes all snapped to the tree line trying to find the source of the sudden noise.

"Kashi~" I said in a sing song voice "Just start the bell test for them. I don't want to participate. If you can catch me before the test is over, I'll take the bell test but if you can't catch me then you have to pass me, regardless if you pass the others or not. Deal?

"You're a cocky little brat I'll give you that." Kashi muttered.

"I heard that!" I yelled with an irk mark.

"Deal."

"Ok! On my mark. Ready... Set..." I jumped down and landed on his head.
"GO" and I took off at a slow for me yet probably still extremely fast pace.  I turned my head over my shoulder and shouted "That 'go' was for you as well. Slowpokes!"

Kakashi didn't really give chase so once I was far enough away from the others, I wove the signs for a genjutsu. Slowly, I erased my presence from this world and gave myself the appearance of a small, brown squirrel. I jumped into the tree and sat down on a branch. Now if someone didn't already know that this squirrel was me, they probably wouldn't even notice it.

After about an hour of sitting here doing nothing, I fell asleep.

Kakashi

'That was so stupid' I thought as I made my way through the forest. 'Ibiki will be expecting Kimi home soon and I still haven't found her.'

I passed the others. And I guess I pass her as well because I still haven't found her. It's now 6 o'clock. After I passed the others, I may have forgotten about Kimi, and went to tell the Hokage I passed them.

As I walked past a tree, a squirrel jumped out and landed on my shoulder and slowly started shimmering. The squirrel changed into Kimi and Kimi slide into my back. She wrapped her arms around my neck and whispered in my ear. "Kashi, guess who won~" in a sing song voice.

I chuckled "I guess you did, huh?"

"That's cause I'm a hide and seek master! Will you take me home to daddy I used to much chakra." And with that she proceeded to pass out on my back.

"Yeah Kimi, I'll take you home. It's my fault anyway."
