I laid the girl down on my bed in the White House. I sat by her bed, holding her hand. I tried to leave but she grabbed my hand just before i could leave. I didn't like the silence; it's too loud. I scrolled through my phone for a little while then pulled out my laptop. I started editing videos and watching old ones. I like singing, I'm not great at it but i just buzz when i do. It feels more complete than I've ever been since Aiden. When i really miss him; i sing. It's not to forget him. It's too remember those moments more clearly.

I grabbed the neck of my guitar and started playing. I also used my laptop to add sound like a backtrack.

Insert song

You can't walk the streets at night,
You're too short to get on this ride,
No I'm not, no I'm not,
Their tryin' to tell me that i,
I gotta be home when the street lights glow,
You can't watch your TV show,
I will watch what i wanna watch,
No,
Won't listen to you,
I do wanna do...

She stirred. A small sigh rose from her. She turned over to face me, her eyes still shut. I had a chance to really look at her now: blonde hair with brown streaks, you could tell it was all natural. Beautiful. She was absolutely breathtaking.

She suddenly jerked up in fright, still asleep. She was having a nightmare. She gripped my hand and squeezed tightly.

"Mase? What are y- Please, Mase, stop!" She started crying and shaking violently "Mason! What are you doing?!?! PLEAS-!" And then it was gone. What ever was haunting her, it stopped there for some reason.

Her green eyes with gold specs fluttered open. Panic flooded her eyes then relief as she remembered.

"Are you ok?" I asked softly.

"Erm, yeah, thank you" she said softly, almost un audible.

" you ready to get up?" She smiled a little "is anyone ever ready to get out of bed?" With a slight laugh. "You know you have a pretty good voice" she said climbing out of the bed.

"Y-you heard that?" She laughed again "Yeah, ears help".

"Oh," i rubbed the back of my neck and feeling my face heat up.

"Aww, you're so cute when you blush!" I looked at her like she was mental. I am a Gang leader. I am a criminal. I am cute? Then again, she doesn't know that. Hey wait, if she's in the gang she should know who i am. Time to give Jace a call.

"Hey, How do you know Jace?" She looks up at me and smiles sadly "he was my brothers best friend" i nodded "so do you know if he's in any gangs or anything?" I dropped in as causally as i could.

"What? Of course he isn't! Jace isn't like that. He's good. Gangs are all drugs and shooting and crime and all that! Jace wouldn't be that evil." She said matter of factly. I clenched my hands into fists but kept my face unreadable.

"Why?" She just looked at me like i was mental. "What do you mean 'why?'?"

"How the hell would you know what gangs do or work? How are they evil? They're really just big families that you can actually depend on. Maybe a little stuff that makes money here and there but to be honest who hasn't committed a crime at least once? We just do it bigger and better! And it's not like we're ruining lives, they chose to be against us and we leave the people who don't want to be dragged in alone! I'm having a panic attack! Oh God! Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!" I took a deep breath and held onto my surroundings. "Sorry, just a stressful topic. Let's go get breakfast." She just stared at me confused as hell.

"Look, i don't know what the hell just happened, but did you say you were in a gang?" I just laughed, "don't be silly" i turned quickly and speed walked out, my eyes widening escaping from the situation which quickly escalated. I'm never like that. I never loose my cool, except when i was about to ask Aidens out. And Ryder. I'm pretty sure I'm Gay.
What is this girl doing to me?

We went over to the kitchen and then she finally asked "where the hell am i because this place is rich?!" She hasn't even wondered that for the last 20minuets? God this girl.

"Welcome Miss Jordan, to the White House" once again, she looked at me like i was mental. "You're kidding right?" I smiled and pushed open two grand doors to the kitchen and saw Chase, Jackson, Jeb, Meg and Spike arguing over the last of the cereals. Meg on Jebs shoulders, Spike was hanging off the cupboards high in the air and Jackson and Chase trying to knock each other down whilst trying to get where Spike was. Mathew was reading a newspaper like nothing's happening. The shouting had stopped as soon as i walked in and they all looked at me, waiting for my reaction.

"Would you like some cereal?" She just shook her head in shock. "Well, carry on, don't let me stop you" with that they went back to squabbling. "Would you like toast, eggs, bacon?" She chose toast and i chucked some on a plate for her.

"So, this is Mathew, he's smart and logical. Unlike the others who didn't bother to check that there was another three boxes of cereal in the cupboard. Suddenly everything behind us stopped and all the others groaned. Then they wished up and ran to the cupboard; yet again, arguing over who gets what first.

"The others well, where should i start?"

Mathew suddenly said "probably with the gang" and the whole world froze.
