SYNOPSIS:

Nathan Morrison grew up in a very God and Christian music centered environment. His parents - although it was mostly his Mom - taught him from a very young age about the healing powers of God's music.

So when he's assigned as a peer mentor to Brittany Peterson and catches a glimpse of the struggles she's going through with her faith and relationships, he decides that he'll bring his favorite Christian CD to life through their peer mentor sessions.

NOTE:

This book is directly inspired by for King and Country, a very awesome Christian band. All of the chapter titles/songs are based off of songs by them that are on their album Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong. (hence the name of the book).

This is also the closest thing to an epilogue that Music Therapy will ever have. And of course, in order for it to follow the timeline correctly, we must assume that this book takes place in 2040. However, this book is not futuristic at all because I'm not writing dystopian. It is established that the album used in this book is old, but nothing else as far as technology and school systems will be changed. Basically this book is set in a time period very similar to now.

Also, song above is Busted Heart (Hold on to Me) by for King and Country. It is from a different album, but I feel like it fits the overall concept of this book just as well as the actual chapter songs do.

This is not edited, and therefore is chocked full of dialogue that may be entirely realistic and consisting of far too many monologues due to this lack of editing. But until I get a chance to go about fixing this, I hope that you can focus less on how likely these words are to come flowing out of my characters' mouths like they are and more about what they are saying, and the point that I was trying to get across with this book.

Thanks for giving this book a try and I hope you like it! Although I am writing this for Nano April '16, chapters will not begin posting until after Music Therapy is done posting since there are many spoilers. "The Monologue" which is basically the spoken part at the end of O God Forgive Us by for King and Country, will be the only chapter updated on here until Music Therapy is finished. But don't worry, Music Therapy will be done sometime in late July/August so this book is coming soon!
