Thought around time of publishing - If you have more than one weetabix are you having weetabucks, weetabixis, weetabicii? Weetabronks?

What happened next seemed surreal. It was like one of those ridiculous dance films where people suddenly burst into a dance routine.
The singing started, and Evelyn, who was now in the center of the floor with brand, imitated it, mouthing the words.
It was something she occasionally did when she was lost in music, and I don't think I have ever seen her do it in public. Normally it was nothing but a weak mumbling movement, this time she was lip-syncing to perfection.
But I couldn't focus on that, the way Evelyn and Brand were dancing was far more hypnotizing, and the beat of the song was intoxicating, shaking through your bones and making your hear beat in time to it.
Soon people were turning to see what was going on, and by the first chorus the whole room was watching them. The guys who'd been laughing about her before were now unable to take their eyes away from her form as she twirled around the floor.
She'd break away from Brand for a few beats before he'd catch her again, spinning her in and running a hand through her hair as she looked up at him dangerously through her eyelashes.
Though the music was blasting the room had fallen into silence, their previous engagements and conversations forgotten.
Everyone was focusing on the performance in front of them, the dance that was so sharp it was practically a fight, a seeming battle for control that dragging the audience in.
I managed to tear my eyes away from them, unsure if it was the pulsating music or their perfect coordination that was causing the uneasy pain in my chest. There was no discord between them - the way they seemed to know what to do and how to move without stepping on each other's feet or messing up defied logic. I looked around the room, hoping to distract myself.
Freya was standing on the other side of the floor, unlike the others who were staring at the dancing pair in fascination she was looking irked that both the attention, and her slave, had been taken from her. After a few seconds she managed to snap out of the trance that had seized the room, like me, and grabbed one of the waiters, another succubus, and strode to the center of the room with him in toe.
It was like someone has interfered with a TV - the transmission was suddenly cut and people broke out of their trances, turning to look at Freya, the person who'd changed the channel.
I saw her mutter something illegible and press her thumb against his wrist. Seconds later they were dancing in time with the music too, with nearly the same degree of synchronization as Evelyn and Brand, though their dance were completely different. Freya and the serving staff member were more 'pop music video', whereas Evelyn and Brand were more like something of 'strictly'.
Once they saw that their ring leader was dancing all her sycophants flooded the floor, imitating her, leaving only a few bewildered people behind.
I saw Theo, who seemed amused by the turn of events, but was more than happy to go over and find some girls to dance with.
I stayed beside the food table, having not moved since before the whole surreal incident went down, trying to process what had just happened.
I couldn't. It was too weird and sudden.
Just before the song ended Evelyn appeared, struggling her way out through the crowd. She came up to me and smiled, acting as though nothing had happened. I wondered if the extra-long hair was giving her some sort of confidence boost, because I was fairly sure she hadn't had anything to drink – most of the wine was spiked with blood.
"So what was that about?" I asked, still unable to come up with a reason for her sudden change of character.
She just shrugged.
"Really?" I asked, slightly exasperated. "I'm just so confused here."
She was about to give me some sort of an answer, but suddenly she was drenched in water.
"Oh dear, I'm so sorry," came an all too familiar voice, I should have known she'd interfere, the look on her face earlier hadn't boded well.
She barged in-between me and Evelyn, knocking me out the way, and getting a silk napkin from the table. She draped it over the front blue section of Evelyn's in a pathetic attempt to cover it up.
She sighed exasperatedly.
"That's just not going to do the job. You'll have to change, come with me."
"Damn it Freya, there's no way she's going anywhere with you," I told her, but she was already dragging Evelyn off towards the hallway.
I set off to follow them, but a group of girls got in my way. One of them giggle unpleasantly and I recognized it from last year, it made my flesh crawl.

I am so sorry the wait has been so long - but major course work, celebrations, phone problems and other things have made it hard. This chapter was hard to get started, and I'm not a fan of this bit, but the next bit is much better I think.. Surprises coming!
So... WHAT WILL HAPPEN?!
