I know that i just did a Christmas themed chapter, but i thought this fit for the time of year, and was better than the actual because (like Texas) nothing was resolved. So here it is, my Christmas chapter.

It was the last day before Christmas, Christmas Eve. There was a lot of planning to do. Riley and her family were busy decorating the tree. Me and Riley decided to go to Topanga's for Christmas Eve so we were out of the way from the craziness.

Me and Riley were slurping hot cocoa, eating Christmas cookies and laughing at each other. Riley was trying to see how many cookies she could stuff in her mouth. Typical Riley. Me and Riley turned to hear the sound of the door bell going. And who could it be?

S:Hello kids! Happy almost New Year!

It was Shawn Hunter. We met when he came to holiday break. Him and my mom Katy really hit it off. Now that he's here, maybe things between him and my mom can start moving forward. Then i heard the door open again....

F:lady!

(Farkle now calls me lady instead of me and Riley.)

And my dorky amazing boyfriend is here. I love that goofy grin of his, it brings me cheer! (sorry for rhyming a lot)

M:hey babe!

I walked up to my boyfriend, giving him a passionate kiss on the lips. Even though everyone was there. And when we pulled away, our foreheads touched.

Anyways, back to our story.

After Farkle came to Topangas, we all sat down while my mom and Shawn were talking as if they were a married couple (In a good way).

Then Riley said:

R:I was thinking that this year, we could volunteer for Toy's For Tot's this year. Spread some Christmas cheer all around.

L:That's a great idea Riley! I think it's good to give back to little kids who don't have the money or the family to spend with.

M:ya i agree with Huckleberry. I wanna see my people!

F:Maya, those kids are worse off then you are, don't say that about yourself. You have a mother who genuinely cares and loves you, and you have a boyfriend that loves you the same, even more.

He hugged me, i looked up and pecked his lips.

R:ya Maya, Farkle's right. Your better off than those kids.

M:Thanks Fark and Riles. But i still wanna give them things that i am fortunate to have.

R:that's the spirit!

So, Riley, Farkle, Lucas, and I went to the childrens center to volunteer. We still couldn't go to Riley's yet. On the way, we went from the nice sparkly, tall building New York, to grungy, smelly, thieving New York. I hurt to know that these were growing up here, i thought my apartment was bad!

I could feel myself get emotional when we walked in. The building looked worn down, old, and needing some TLC. As we walked to the craft center, i saw little kids looking at me, most of them were very young. I saw a little girl alone in a corner with some old clothes on, she had blonde hair and grey-blue eyes. She looked like me! I could feel tears coming down my face. That's how i used to be before i met Riley. As we continued the hallway, i saw more kids, these ones looked older. The older kids were playing with the younger ones, probably because they had no one else to play with.

We finally reached the craft center where all the kids go in their free time. It looked  like most of their supplies were out. But they still had some wrapping paper. Riley and Lucas began to work. Farkle stayed next to me, he could sense that something was wrong.
