Chapter 13

**Jades POV**

I woke up to the smell of fresh bacon and muffins.

I turn to my side to find it empty I'm guessing he went home when I fell asleep.

I quickly get up and get dressed even though it's not a school day. I go to my closet and choose my outfit.

After I pick my outfit out I go to my vanity and get my curling iron out, and my makeup bag. I apply my usual makeup and then apply heat protection before curling my light brown hair into loose curls.

I put on a 5sos muscle tee that shows my white bandeau, I then put on some some high waisted shorts, then I take a flannel and tie it around my waste and finish it off with some maroon vans.

I go downstairs to see my mom sitting at the table drinking her coffee.

"Morning mom." I say

"Good morning sweetie." She says with a smile.

I go over to the kitchen and make me a plate which consisted of two pieces of bacon and a banana nut muffin with some orange juice.

Just then I Jeremy running down the stairs almost falling.

"FOOD!" He screams

"Jeremy chill!" My mom says which makes me laugh

"It smells so good" he says licking his lips

I roll my eyes playfully and take a seat at the table directly in front of where my mom is sitting.

Jeremy takes a seat beside me and starts eating like he hasn't eaten in days.

"So, I need to tell you guys something important." My mom says taking one last sip of her coffee.

We both look at each other then back to my mom.

"Don't worry it's not bad it's just that my company called me in today asking me to work night shift all night and like half of tomorrow so I can't be here, can I trust you guys to behave while I'm gone?" She says

I look at Jeremy who has a smirk plastered on his face and I hit his arm.

"You can trust us." I say with a toothless smile.

"Okay well I have to go get ready so I can leave." She says getting up putting her dish in the sink

"Okay." I say

After she left Jeremy smacks my shoulder

"What was that for?!" I yell

"You smacked my shoulder." He says shrugging.

"Your not doing anything while moms gone." I say knowing that he'll have a party or something

"We'll see about that." He says smirking

Just then my mom comes running down the steps in a flowey tank showing her tan skin, denim miss me shorts that go past her thighs, some white vans I got her, and her hair is loosely hanging down reaching her mid back.

"Bye guys please behave and Jade watch your brother." She says glaring at me

"I can take care of myself thank you." He says with a cocky smile.

"Sure you can." My mom says mumbling which makes me laugh

After she shuts the door Jeremy goes running up the stairs. Who knows what he's up too.
