Author's pov :
Three months. Gone with the wind. Just passed effortlessly without allowing anyone to even sit and think about what happened in the mean time. Were they so dense to notice the flying time? Weren't they aware of it already? Were they too engrossed in love to notice the greedily speeding period? Three months was honestly not an easy word to voice out. It might sound like three days for those who are busy working business but for these two, it was like three solid years. Those days were heavenly and the time was precious. Every tick of the seconds mattered to both of them, obliviously.
The last of the above questions must hold a YES as the answer. That was the truth. Clocks and calendars were the things they ignored as like that. Those were the least bothering materials for them. But now, it was on a contrary. Like both of their hearts begged for the clocks to stop working and calenders to stop giving access for flipping it's pages.
They didn't like the reality. They hated how nature controlled time's functions. Three months passed and that they didn't see coming. Much to their loath, apparently, they only had two nights and two days left, counting from now. Miserable!
Key isn't dead nor he's gonna turn invisible in three days. But the fact that he's gonna leave made her feel so close to the former terms. After all, just after three days he wasn't gonna be there around her anymore and thinking about that made another drop of tear rolling down her cheeks. She wished he would be there around her, ever time, always. She wished that he would stay so close to her, hugging her tight and not letting her go, just as like they are doing now.
With her shivering body pulled towards his own, his chest periodically warming up her back every time he breathed in, his slender long arms securely wrapping her over the waist, his pointed chin gently placed on her shoulders, his pink little lips continuously mumbling sweet nothings into her ears, making her feel goosebumps all over her body, his nice warm breath caressing the sides of her face, she couldn't think of anything else but to cherish the moment.
He was hugging her from behind so tight, making her feel cozy and loved. Rooftop wasn't doing good in providing an appropriate weather - a mild night breeze or something. It was awfully cold and the wind was blowing a little too hard making their body go numb and almost paralysed.
But that was what the girl wanted at the moment as she savored the gentle warmth of the boy behind her. He was obliviously shivering because of the dry cold breeze but that didn't matter to him. She's in his arms and that was all he needed.
"Young Hee" He cooed as he teared his gaze from the breathtaking top view of the New York City in its night lights. But at the moment, nothing was more captivating than her perfect profile.
"Mmm?" She hummed in response still dazed by the panoramic view of the night buildings.
"I love you."
A smile crept on her face as she started thinking and chuckled after realising something. "Forty six." She said.
He mirrored her smile. "Forty six?"
"Number of times you said that you love me."
He chuckled audibly as he peck her hair. "I can't help myself right now. If you'd leave me, I would definitely knock down a million by tonight." He said as he nuzzled his face in the crook of her neck.
"Young Hee"
"Mmm?"
"Do you regret anything?" He asked her and his voice just sounded hesitant on whether he should open up the topic of reality or not.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean....Do you regret loving me? Like knowing already that I won't be staying too long and that I had to leave one day, you still fell in love with me. Do you regret that decision now?"
