*Young Hee*
Everything was blurred.
My vision was veiled and I couldn't interpret anything from the ambience. I tried opening my eyes admist of all the striking pain I started feeling on my body.
I somehow managed to tear my eyelids apart and the next second sharp rays from the LED bulbs pierced through the pupils. I slowly rolled my eye balls and conquered the view of the white ceiling above.
Where am I?
"Young Hee, are you alright?" A voice reverberated beside me. It sounded very familiar and tensed.
"Y-Yuna?" My own came out in a broken form and I managed to utter the only name I could ever remember.
"Relax," She cooed. "I'll help you." I couldn't still see anything properly. Things remained appearing blurry but I was able to recognise her slender silhouette as she approached closer.
"Where am I?" I whispered and that's when I felt the sudden pang of ache striking my head and my lower back. Her hands circled around my waist as she tried pulling me up so that I could sit properly without straining any of my now sensitive body parts.
"Careful Young Hee." She helped me while muttering all the possible statements that could soothen me at the moment but nonetheless, I felt vaguely miserable.
"What happened to me? O-Ouch! By head hurts."
I was literally whimpering but she just shushed me and took a seat beside the bed on which I was lying. No sooner, my eyes spilt salty liquid drops on my cheeks but I knew wasn't crying. I was just imitating what Yuna was doing. Her bun-like cheeks were awfully damped. Her round hazelnut eyes were lifeless, completely soaked in tears. She looked like she was sobbing.
What really happened?
At once she grabbed my hand and started crying out loud which pretty much surprised me "I was s-scared that something w-worse might happen to you. I was really frightened." Her hold on my hands grew tighter and her sobs became more intense. I was confused, like absolutely.
She is not freakin' answering any of my questions and how the hell will I know what's going on in here?
"W-What are you talki--"
"Young Hee!" The room door abruptly slammed open, chopping off the mushrooming perplexed situation and in came a man and a woman - both seeming to be in their mid forties.
"Oh my God! We were damn worried. Thank God you survived. Gosh..." She came rushing towards me and embraced me in a tight hug that could possibly crush all the left out bones in my body. Somehow it felt very soothing. Not giving a damn thought on anything else, I returned her hug with a tighter one. This time I used the chance to get a whiff of her strong deodrant that smelt ritzy and feminine.
Mum.
It is my mum.
There's no way I was wrong. I know her. But why was she crying too?
"Gummy are you okay?" She withdrew as she sniffed. Her cheeks were covered in a prominent quilt of pink and her eyes were practically imitating tomatoes.
"I'm okay mum." I said, hardly knowing what she was asking about.
"Is it paining anywhere? Or you have any injury? You are not feeling any internal bleeding, are you? Tell me Young Hee. Please don't hide anything. Is it paining in here?" She started bombarding me with questions.
