Sorry that it took so long! It's just that I was at a camp for threee weeks learning ANCIENT GREEK the language so I had no internet :( and I've been really really tired but here is your chapter! Hope you like it!
"So that's the volleyball courts, you can play there when you have free time," Nico points. So far, the camp looks awesome and unreal. Seriously, they train you to use weapons and how to survive! How cool is that! God that sounded like someone I knew when I was young. What was his name?
"Elena?" Nico asks, jarring me from my thoughts. I look back at him and he has an amused expression on his face. "Did you actually hear anything I said?" A gust of wind blows. It would have lifted up my "shirt"- I don't even know what to call it now- if I hadn't kept my arms crossed tightly to my chest.
"I'm sorry what did you say?" I ask shyly, my face red from that moment. His face is slightly pink as he looks anywhere but my exposed stomach. Aw, this guy is so innocent.
"I said," he draws out the said, "We're going to the swordfighting arena to get Connor Stoll to get you some new clothes."
Clothes! Oh, nice, sweet, covering clothes! I nod enthusiastically, making him chuckle. He beckons me to follow him to this arena, where I can hear metal clashing against each other.
"Hey! Connor!" Nico calls loudly, and the sounds immediately stop. A tall guy looks at him. He looks about seventeen or eighteen, with sort of elfish features. He glances at me and raises his eyebrows, before giving me a wink. I blush and cross my arms tighter.
"Who's the the sexy senorita?" "Connor" asks mischieviously. I cheeks flame even more as I step closer to Nico. Pervert alert. That just rhymed.
Oh shut up.
Nico doesn't notice, but what he says after is probably the most absurd thing ever. "Do you think you could get some clothing from the campstore for her. Oh yeah um her name is Elena Del Sol. Daughter of Apollo."
"Well, her mom must have been Aphrodite herself to be this beautiful," he says flirtaciously. I frown at that.
"My mom is definitely not Aphrodite," I say defiantly. "And I'm not beautiful." Lots of guys scoff at that.
"Exactly," says a voice. I look for the source of it to find the Queen of all Queen Bs smirking at me. She's an Asian barbie doll, and not in a good way. She wears lots of make up, except she looks perfect with it, making me totally jealous. She holds an air of arrogance and self importance.
"And who exactly are you?" I say politely as I can, although it's very low in my standards.
"Drew, daughter of Aphrodite," she says haughtily, flipping her hair for effect. Some guys look like they are about to faint. Ew. "And you are most certainly not attractive. You look like roadkill for gods sake!"
Nico harrumphed. "Lay off her, Drew, at least she doesn't look like a drag queen. And she has been chased by monsters for the last two weeks." A lot of the guys ooh at that while Drew looks dumstruck. I stifle a laugh but she just gives me a death glare.
"What does a child of Aphrodite do anyway? Do they just go shopping all the time and gossip about cute boys?" I ask mockingly. Drew's cheeks turn scarlet.
"Don't you dare mock the children of Aphrodite! I can charmspeak anyone into doing anything. I can use you as an example," she sneers at me. She looks so lovely doing that.
I snort. "Oh please, I can do more damage to you than you could ever do to me. You are just a weak barbie doll cake face." I don't know where I am getting this anger. She is just so much like the snotty rich gymnasts in my class...
