Hallow Heart

  I glare out the window as the sun rises across the sky.
  "Hey", Betty my step mom says as she walks in the room. "Breakfast is almost ready".
Betty's nice. She's a tall black cat with golden green eyes. She's been nice to me since I got here but that was only to days ago.
  "Okay, I'll be down in a minute. Do I have to go to school today?" I ask.
  "YES YOU DO EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT!!!" She snaps at me as she walks out of my room.
  That was the first time she's yelled at me. Damn.... I get out of bed and walk to the bathroom and strip out of my clothes to take a shower. I turn on the hot water and as it flow down my body I feel relaxed.
  I get out of the shower 4 minutes latter and throw on black and white skinny jeans to match my fur, a blue t-shirt and a grey flannel. I head down stairs and hear dad on the phone.
  Dads a red and white wolf with purple eyes. I'm a black and white wolf with bright blue eyes and mom is a brown wolf with black eyes. "I don't fit in my family at all," I think to myself.
  "Dean you ready?" Betty ask as I'm finishing up my eggs. I nod my head yes and we head out to the car and drive down to school.
  "Hey look, I love you as if you were my own son. Call me if you have troubles okay?"
  "'Kay mom" I say as I leave the car and walk to the entrance on the school with my schedule in my left paw.
  I walk up to the office building. "Damn it's big I'm here."
  "Yeah it is." Someone says right behind me. I turn around to see who it is. "Who are you?" I ask politely.
  "Names Axel. Got it memorized? And by the looks of you, your name is", he looks at my schedule. "Dean. Nice to meet u Dean."
  Axel is hot!!! But cocky... My old boyfriend would be here with me if he didn't die in a car accident. I'm still looking but no one can replace him. That was 4 years ago.
  As Axel walks away the school bell rings and I head for building B room 10 on floor 2.
  My home room is big. "There's a lot of Furries hear but I don't see anyone ho-" I cut myself off as a tall muscular wolf walks to me. "Hey you the new kid?" I nod. I couldn't speak. I start blushing as I look into he's beautiful Amber eyes.
  "Come on I'll show you around" I follow him as he introduces me to all the other students and then he invites me to sit with him and he's friends. How could I deny.
  "By the way names Blake" he says to me as we sit down at he's group. 
  "Hey it's Dean" says someone I recognize. It's Axel.
  "Hey Axel", I finally say something.
  "How you likin-" the bell cuts him off and everyone hurries out of the room to get to first period. I'm heading to P.E.
  "Hey fresh meat!" Someone says as I'm shoved down the B building stairs. I hit my head.
  "Dean!!"
