Miss Evans POV

Mondays, do you know what I hate more than Mondays? Tuesdays... Actually, literally every working day.

Although it's Friday and I should be more than happy to enjoy my weekend the school homecoming dance is today so everything was hell, I swear if my lesson was to be interrupted today with someone proposing I was going to burst, I'm dreading prom already.

I seriously can't believe I'm going to waste a Friday night at school watching kids, although I do enjoy catching them misbehaving and turning them in. At least I'll take some joy from it.

The tardy bell to my first lesson of the day rang making everyone seat and stop talking, I took a glance at Anna's seat seeing she was there already making it the first week she was always on time which I'm quite impressed. I could see she was watching me but she was lost in her thoughts, distracted by whatever dirty thing she was thinking.

I have noticed that when she is lost in her thoughts her eyes would slightly cross, and look at different directions, I wonder if she knows that, if she did she would probably avoid it at least in front of me. It's quite funny so I'm not telling, I guess no one is telling for the same reason.

I cleared my throat making the faint whispering noises stop, honestly, this is why I chose to be a teacher.

Today's classes passed by extremely fast which I don't know if I'm happy about or not given the fact I would have a miserable Friday night, it is literally the worst thing a teacher could get, at least they don't do it on Saturdays.

Before I knew it I was seated in an empty classroom as the tardy bell rang, lunchtime aka detention time. The silent class made me fall into my thoughts bringing me to last Monday, Anna didn't stay after class to bother me since then which is quite odd, me thinking about it is quite odd enough although I do enjoy her out of the normal company and I could see she was restraining herself from doing anything stupid again which I appreciate.

She almost kissed me and I almost let her, I have no idea why.

If someone told me when I first started teaching that I would have any kind of feelings, romantic or not towards any of my students I would have not believed in it, I think I would be disgusted, right now I'm not so sure, well, I still would be disgusted if it was minor.

I'm not in love with Anna nor do I have romantic feelings towards her and I absolutely would not let anything of the sort happen between us while she attends this school, it doesn't mean it would happen when she graduates either. She's a teenager that acts like a kid, it's ridiculous.

"Sup?" I heard a voice I knew all too well coming from right behind me making me slightly jump on my chair.

"Anna," I sighed.

"What were you thinking about?" She asked amusedly seating in a table in front of me. "Are you thinking about me?"

"Every second a thought of you crosses my mind at least 3 of my brain cells die," I said rolling my eyes.

"Ouch," she said with a hand on her chest.

"What are you doing here?" I said ignoring her scene.

"Soph is making last-minute shopping for Homecoming and I might have told her I had detention to run away from it," She said chuckling.

"I can see you're such a good friend." She smiled and I'm not sure she took it with the irony that was intended, she never did or never cared, such positiveness is disgusting.

"What are you wearing tonight?"

"The same clothes you're seeing me wear right now," I said earning a look over from her.

"You're still going to steal all the spotlight."

"What are you wearing?" I asked dismissing her compliment.

"I'm not sure," she sighed, must be hard to be a teenager, irony intended. "Probably Soph is going to make me wear the only dress I have in my wardrobe."

"I never thought I would see such a thing," I chuckled.

"I look pretty hot in it," she said crossing her arms.

"Sure," I said amusedly, I'll be the judge of that.

"Spare me a dance tonight?" She said jokingly in which I just rolled my eyes. "I'll take that as a yes," she said as the bell rang. "Take me home."

"Is that a statement?"

"Yes," she said picking her bag from the ground, unbelievable.

"Have a good walk home."

"C'mon," she pleaded.

"I'm not going home right now I have to stay to help out with the stuff and even if I didn't I still wouldn't take you," I said with a serious face.

I'm not mad, I'm amused.

"Then you owe me two dances," she said amusedly.

"I don't recall owing you one in the first place."

"Bye miss," she said already out of the door.

Seriously, unbelievable.

I used to love the silence but I'm not so sure of that either, this girl will cause me more trouble than I anticipated.
