A.N. Bonjour mon amis! I'm gonna be on a plane jumping from one time zone to another, so I might skip one day to adjust, AGH! Stupid confusing time zones!
Joan's P.O.V.
Eponine and I sit in the corner of the cafe. Excited chatter is everywhere. It's bring your girlfriend to the barricade day, pretty much a bummer to all the single guys here. We're all really excited though to meet Marius' girlfriend. He says she has hair the color of gold, eyes bluer than a summer sky, cheeks rosier than roses, etc. Eponine describes her as blonde, blue eyed, and, bourgeois. I think of a typical rich French girl. The back door opens Marius and a girl walk in.
"Guys! This is my girlfriend, Cosette," silence. It's that blonde girl from the weird sparkly day.
"That's your girlfriend?" Enjolras asks. Marius nods proudly.
"Eponine's prettier!" he protests.
I turn to Eponine her face is a deep crimson red. Cosette looks upset.
"Ignore him Cosette. He's just too lonely," Marius assures her. I roll my eyes. Some of the single boys (excluding Courfeyrac, Enjolras, and Gavroche) walk up to her. I can almost see her trying to hide behind Marius. I don't understand why, is she Androphobic? Perhaps Cainophobic? Maybe both.( Androphobic: Fear of men. Cainophobic: Fear of new things)
