Doing the Les Miserables Challenge

Day 26; Enjolras Has Been Captured (And return of the magical book)

Enjolras' P.O.V.

"Unh..." I rub my head, "Where am I?" The room is cold and dark, nothing but a small barred window, I walk up to the window, but I'm held back. "Chains," I mutter to myself, I've been captured. My memory floods back. The fighting the barricade...Eponine's death, and of course me getting captured. On the bright side I was carried off kicking and screamig. The door opens, a solider walk in with three other people, Grantiare, Gavroche, and Joleigh. They silently get chained up, Grantiare cranes his neck to listen for something. The foosteps fade. Gratiare grins

"Coast's clear," He slurs, Joeigh grins as she shakes her head, causing her golden bun to come loose. Hairpins clatter onto the floor, Gavroche, picks one up. The kid must've had a lot of pracice escaping, because he somehow manages to unlock his cuffs from the back,

"Ta Da!" He presents his cuff-free hands. He unlocks the cuffs on his feet, then starts unlocking Joleigh.

"Ah, merci Gavroche," she says while stooping down to pick up a hairpin. She walks up to me,

"Please, turn around Enj," she says smiling. I turn around, "Okay, hold still," she giggles the cuff bit. Click. "Got it." She starts nlocking my feet.

"Oh, thank you Joleigh!" she smiles, "Of course mousier," she playfully curtsies. She goes to the window,

"Tzitel, the fabrics please," a familiar young woman appears in the window, "Hello," she beams, "Here's the fabrics," She passes Joleigh a multi-colored coat, "Thanks," Joleigh runs to the door nd stuffs the crack with it. Grantiare walks up next to me,

"Nice rescue plan, eh Enj?" I'm still a little dumb-founded bu the rush of events. Then Perchik's face appeared in the window,

"Hello Enjolras!"

"Hi, how'd you guys get here?"

"We-" Perchik is cut off, by another voice, "Same way you got to Annatavka," HOdel appears next to Perchik "Guess what?" Hodel adds, more excitedly, I open my mouth to guess "Perchik and I are engaged!"

"My congratulations,"

"Let us celebrate this happy occasion later," a firm female voice says. Hodel turns around, "But mama-"

"Later." Hodel sighs "Motel did you bring the saw?"

"Yes,"

"Good, Papa, can you saw through these bars?"

"Yes, yes, as he good book says-"

"The good book can wait! Start sawing!" The big man sighs, and take the saw, he starts to saw.

~ After Tevye (aka Big guy) sawed through he bars~

"There!" he says triumphantly, he sawed through enough bars for us to crawl through. Grantiare, Joleigh, and Gavroche urge me to go through first, I help Joleigh out

"Thank you mousier," Gavroche crawls out followe by Grantiare.

"Thank you!" I exclaim, an older woman with a stern face says,

"Save your thanks for later. We should return to your wall of furniture."

We run back to the barricade. A few people are still there, the scrawny young boy Ames, Coureyrac, two little girls and, an older man in a solider's uniform. They wave at us, the little girls begin to fade I look at Perchik, he and Hodel's family begin to fade, they fade with a pop. I walk back to the barricade, Grantiare fills Coombferre with what just happened.

"...The Annatevkins er, people from Annatevka came then they left," Grantiare finishes.

"Oh, I jut read a book 'bout Annatevka," he thrusts a book into Grantiare's hand

"Fiddler on the roof," he reads I peer over his shoulder, on the cover was the big man, "Weird..." I mutter to myself.

~Meanwhile at the prison~

Some guard's P.O.V

"Grrr, I can't believe we let those silly revolutionists escape! Joseph what are you doing?"My fellow guard was wearing a multi-colored coat.

"This is so beautiful! It's red, yellow, green, brown, scarlet, and black, and ochre and peach, and ruby, and..." I roll my eyes and walk out leaving Jospeh to study the colors on the coat.

Hello! So return of the Magical book! Maybe Chava and Combferre are silver tounges!:P Anyway I really do love Fiddler on the Roof (It's one of my first musicals so...yeah!) I placed a weird (but funny) video of Fiddler on the Roof and Avenue Q mashup! Enjoy!
