A.N. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! Or fifth depending on your time zone...

Gavroche's P.O.V.

I'm running from the police, what's new? My sister's dead that's what's new. Anyway, I've still got a group of boys to feed, so of course I get them food. I paid for it! Well, most of it...anyway! I run to the Elephant.

"Bring the ladder down!" a rope ladder drops from the top I quickly climb up.

"Dinner, is served boys." I drop my sack to reveal 3 warm loaves of bread. I can't help, but feel like, what's his name? Oh yes! Peter Pan, helping out my group of 'lost boys' I can't fly though.

" 'Ow's the barricade Gavroche?" one of the boys asks with his mouth full.

"Okay...my sister just died though..." he swallows his bread with a big gulp.

"Oh..." I start to tear up, but quickly brush the tears away. I knew it wasn't only my loss, it was Azelma's, and Joleigh's, and Enjolras', and Joan's, and theirs'. Eponine was almost (emphasis on almost) a mother-like figure to these lads, other times she was also like the pesky, older sister we never had. But either way, she was family, well a better family than Thenardier, and his wife, who (sadly) are my parents. I start thinking for a bit.

"Boys, you can provide for yourselves if I fall at the barricade, right?" they look surprised as if saying 'you won't fall Gavroche!' but they sighed.

"We might," I give a faint smile,

"Well, I've got back to the barricade, see ya!" I climb down the Elephant and run to the barricade. I sit in my box,

"Gavroche," I look up Marius is crouched down next to my box "Will you do something for me?" I consider this,

"Of course without you I would've bitten dust." He smiles, and hands me a letter,

"Pleas send this to Rue de Laramie (A.N. Probably spelt wrong.) number 5" I nod, climb out of my box and dash off.

~At Rue de Larmie no. 5~

I run up the steps,

"'ere it is," I mutter to myself. I knock on the door. (A.N. Oh oops Jean's already at the barricade...Cosette get the door!:/) A blonde girl, Cosette comes out. I think she's pretty.

"Why hello little boy!" my face falls, seriously? I'm not a toddler.

"Letter from the barricade."

"I'm sure it is," she reaches for it, I cleverly draw the letter back and hold out my other palm. I grin as she places a good five francs into my palm. Grinning I hand her the letter.

"Something for you, something for me. Donate to charity!" I run down the stairs, and back to the barricade.
