I guess I really do have karma now, don't I? It's not fun. It's not the same without Elsa. To be honest, everything seems dull. When that thought of rejection comes in mind, my heart shatters.

Losing a mate is like losing your other half. I could only imagine that seeing your mate die right in front of you is worse. Technically, Elsa is already dead. I mean, there is no way of cleansing Elsa from the darkness. It basically consumed her.

NO! Jack, stop thinking like that. Nothing is impossible. There is a way! It's just hard to find it.

"Jack, sweetie could you get the door?" mother yells to me from downstairs.

Going downstairs seems dull enough. I open the door, obviously not going to see Elsa, but only her sister - Anna.

"Hey Jack," she smiles.

"Hey," I smile back as I gesture her to come in.

"Oh no, i'm good thanks. I just came here to ask a question," she says.

"Go ahead, i'm all ears."

"Is Elsa here with you, by any chance? Your her boyfriend, and I just would assume she was here" she says putting her arm over her hand.

Hmph, if only she knew. What happenend to her.

"No, i'm sorry. She was with me earlier, but she left to go to somewhere she never told me though, sorry," I answered scratching the back of my own neck.

"Oh. Okay, if you see her, please tell her to come home. It's quite lonely here without any of my family. Heh. Sorry for bugging you, i'll see you around. Seeya." she says in a slight slump mood walking across the yard to go to her house.

It's hard being lonely. I can only imagine how worse it is for Elsa.

"SNAP OUT OF IT!" Zack yells as I flinch. God, he can be so loud.

"If you want to find Elsa, do it now and stop acting like a depressed piece of shit!" Zack lectures.

"I've never seen this side of you," I reply amazed.

"Yeah, well I could say the same to you" He scoffs.

It was rather an astonishing silence cause It was true. I'm not acting like myself. Just because I let Elsa get away. That matters, but what matters the most is getting her back.

"Finally! Took you time to realize that," Zack howls.

"Yeah, yeah. Where do we start?" I ask cause, i'm still dumbfounded.

"I suggest we could go to the Pack house and find some information about the Nightmares. I bet we have an enchanted book about them," Zack informs me.

"Alright let's do that! I'll get an extra set of clothes first" I reply as Zack nods in my head.

I head upstairs and grab some boxers and a random shirt I first saw in my closet. Then, I walk back downstairs to get stopped by my father.

"Look Jack, i'm sorry. I may have overeacted a bit. It's just, how are you going to continue the bloodline of the pack?" He asks.

I look at him give him a smile of determination and commitment, "I'm going to bring back Elsa, of course"

"Good. Now, you can have your title as Alpha back," he says smiling.

"Thanks, i'm going to the Pack house now" I say as I leave the front door.

Going into the neighborhood forest, I look and hear around everywhere to make sure i'm alone, once I'm good I shift into my wolf form and pick up my extra clothes with my mouth, since my clothes have ripped when I shifted. I ran towards the Packhouse.
