[The Wolf Next Door #2] Eclipsed {On Hold}

Shifting once again, I rush back to my family's house. I haven't mentioned it but my mother and father didn't want to live in the packhouse, so do me and Emma. I occasionally live in the packhouse but it's really loud there. Sure, our rooms are all soundproof but does that help? I think not.

I'm not sure if i'm mad or enraged. Even if i'm worried. I guess losing Elsa really does affect me as a person. Okay! Jack get your shit together.

As I arrive at the house I immidiately hear Emmalyn screaming.

"No! No! Not like this! Not now! Why?!? Why is she doing this?" Emma cried.

I rushed over to her side and held both of her shoulders and looked at her straight in the eyes.

"Emmalyn, you're okay. Now, what happened?" I ask her with a bit of my alpha tone.

"Elsa," she gulped. "Sh-She was here. Wearing a long black dress. She looked mad!"

"And?"

"And she told me," Emma paused then looked at me with eyes of terror.

"She said to surrender. I-if you don't she wont hesitate to kill-ki"

"Kill who?"

"Us."

Mother gasped and father cursed under his breath.

"She wont hesitate to kill your close ones! She wont stop! Until you go to her. So she can kill you herself"

No. She can't. That isn't her it's the darkness! Elsa is still there and i'm going to get her back.

"Alright. I'll go to her."

"Wait what?" Emma shouted.

"Jack no! If you go you'll -"

"I won't die. She's my mate and I will get her back," I inturupt Emma as she nods shivering.

"Alpha, we have captured a female rouge. She has the scent of Elsa on her. Do I proceed with the normal standards?"  Jamie mindlinks me.

Elsa?

"Yes, but do not proceed to punish the rouge. Leave her to me" I reply back.

"Sorry guys, theres a rouge and it might know things about Elsa" I apologize to my family.

"Well what are you waiting for? Go!"

"Wait!" Emma shouts.

"We should, all stay at the packhouse. It just bothers me of what Elsa said.." she says.

Mom and Dad both look at each other, then look at me as I nod.

"Emma, pack some clothes" mother says as Emma rushes up to her room.

Ugh. After all this commotion I have to deal with a rouge?

"Where is she?" I ask one of the guards in the dungeon.

"Cell 3, Alpha"

As I walk towards cell 3 I take a good look at the rouge and immediately I smell the scent of Elsa on her. She must know something.

She slowly looks up and has fear in her eyes she backs away as fast as she can into a dark corner as I open the cell and walk in.

"What is your name rouge?" I ask.

She stays quiet and quivers in fear.

"What is your name?" I say using my Alpha tone.

"I-I don't know. Please Alpha, i'm sorry! I- I-"

"Don't worry, i'm not a cold hearted Alpha. My wolf is. I was just here for a question"

"Then what is it you ask?" She says.

"Do you know a girl named Elsa. She's my mate."

"El-sa? I'm sorry Alpha I don't know her"

"You have the scent of her" I say.

When she looks at me, her eyes make me freeze. Blue eyes, light blue eyes. My eyes.

"Please, Alpha spare me. I wish to join your Pack. I have no memory of my old self or my old pack. Please I beg of you"

The look of her eyes change into eyes of sadness. When I look into her eyes, I see Elsa.

I sigh, "Alright"

Then I see her eyes light up.

"Thank you so much! I-I don't know what to give in return" she says with glee.

"Just. When you recall any memory of yourself, or Elsa please tell me"

"Of course Alpha" she says smiling.

"You really think that letter her in the Pack will help what so ever?" Zack snarls.

"Well, yes? Look, she doesn't know her past. She's no harm. Until she gets her memories back then we can investigate" I reply back.

"So you're using her? The one you spared. The one who trusts you now?" Zack says.

...

Without thinking, I block Zack from our connection. I'm not using her at all! I mean, it seems like I am but it's not my intention to, but...

Dear god. Everthing seems so off.

As I exit the dungeon and the newly found pack member, who has no name. Follows me.

"Woah, did you feel that?" She asks.

"Feel what?"

Just then everyone in the pack stops. Even the pups.

"What was that?"

"Daddy? Did you feel that?"

"It's something I cant describe"

I don't feel it.

"Jinxed it" Zack says.

"Woah!" I say.

It felt like I was pushed back, the heaviness in my body. Our wolfs were weakened. Aswell as us.

"Look up in the sky!" A pack pup yells.

As everyone came outside they were all confused.

"What? Thats rather odd"

Just when I get outside the panic runs into me.

It was an eclipse.

"Wasn't there one yesterday?" Another pup asks.

"Wait, yeah! But we didn't get this weird feeling."

"Where is our Luna! She is the daughter of the moon right? She can tell us whats wrong!"

"Yeah!" Everyone chanted as they looked at me.

"Alpha? Where is Luna?" A little girl asks me.

I swallow the  knot in my throat.

This is going to be a living hell.

I have to tell them.  They are my family. They deserve to know.

I think I need to confess this, even though you might not read this.

When I first wrote TWND, I had so much fun with the possibilities of the plot. Every chapter I made was within fun.

Now, I don't feel it as much as I used to. Chapter now are made with pressure. It may not seem like it but there that one reader that makes authors want to rush there story. I've seen it and It lead to the author leaving the book.

I know none of you are rushing me but I need to know if you're okay with the long waits. Its just so hard. So many "what ifs" play in my mind.
