Chapter 3:Phoebe

Phoebe's POV
"How was Internationals Kate?" I asked.

"Crazy," Kate said.

"So Lucien pushed you over?" I asked.

"Yep. I'd rather not talk about that though Phoebe," Kate said.

"Oh yeah. My apologies," I  said.

"I better go. I have yoga class soon," I said.

"Okay, bye Phoebe," Kate said.

"Bye," I said.

I received an email today from a former Jr High school classmate today, however I didn't tell Kate. I didn't tell Kate because it would make her nervous. We weren't exactly popular at school. Actually, we weren't at all. It's probably my fault, because I protected Kate so much, but I'm her big sister. I have to be worried about her.

Today is the auditions for the A Troupe.

"Can you believe we are auditioning kids for Regionals? I can't believe we have won Internationals, and now we are back here," Kate said.

"Life's amazing sometimes,isn't  it," I said.

Dancers filed into the studio and started warming up.

"Alright everyone clear the floor for the auditions. In the first group we have Becca, Richelle, Abi, Noah and Thalia," Kate said.

Becca did acro and contemporary. Richelle did acro and contemporary. Abi did ballet. Noah did contemporary. Thalia did contemporary.

"In the second group we have Giselle, Eldon, Michelle, Amanda and Riley," Kate said.

Giselle did acro and contemporary. Eldon did contemporary. Michelle did contemporary. Amanda did ballet and contemporary. Riley did ballet, acro, hip hop and contemporary.

"In the third group we have James, Emily, Stephanie, Skylar and Camille," Kate said.

James did hip hop. Emily did contemporary. Stephanie did jazz. Skylar did acro. Camille did ballet.

"In the fourth group we have Gabi, Max,Cierra, Jake and Tiffany," Kate said.

Gabi did contemporary. Max did acro. Cierra did contemporary. Jake did contemporary and acro. Tiffany did hip hop.

"We will post the list later," Kate said.

I'm happy with A Troupe.

Giselle's POV
Today is the day Becca performs her solo. It was great.

It's now awards.

"In the preteen solo category, in second place, we have Aly from Elite Dance Academy with Werk. In first place, with a score of 89 points is act 28, Lost and Found performed by Becca from The Next Step," announced the announcer.

I'm really happy for Becca.

Phoebe's POV
I felt weakness is my legs today while I was teaching A Troupe, but I didn't think too much of it because I've been pushing the kids with choreography, and therefore I have to work harder to demonstrate the movements.

Today my  legs were tingling while I taught B Troupe. I'm starting to think that something could be wrong. I'm gonna get it checked out, before Kate notices.

Today is my doctors appointment. My doctor ran a test and looked at me.

"You have Guillain Barré syndrome. It's not very serious yet, but it can get to be, so I'm going to have to you go to the hospital before it gets worse. You will be treated there," my doctor said.

I don't know what to think. My doctor and I organized all the other important things, and I left. I went right to the dance studio. Kate was in her office.

"Kate, are you busy? Can I talk to you?" I asked.

"I'm always busy, but we can talk," Kate said.

I took a deep breath.

"I went to the doctors today because I was having some weird symptoms of something, and they told me I have Guillain Barré syndrome. I have to go to the hospital to get treated," I said.
