Chapter 4

Kaitlyn
Last night, Jazz told me what happened with her and Lamar. I was on a mission to find Brandy. I went around asking if anyone had seen her, when Nana came my way. I looked at her and rolled my eyes, remembering what Shawn told me about what his dad did. She frowned. "What did I do to you?" she asked. "Oh don't act dumb baby girl. You know exactly what you did to MY bestfriend." "Yeah, what I did to HER, not YOU." "You must not know. You mess with her, you mess with me." "Whatever, where is she? I don't have time for you and your bs today." Nana said as she fanned me off. "Oh okay." "Yeah." "If you don't have time for me, why you still here?"I said rolling my eyes. "You must wanna fight, all this talking you doing." I raised my eyebrows. She must've forgot who she was talking to. "Hit me. You bad, right? Hit me." I raised my voice drawing attention to us. She charged at me and punched me dead in my face. I bounced back, put my hair in a high bun, took my earrings out, kicked my shoes off, and put Vaseline all over my face. Then, I slung her by her hair and started punching her. I stomped her face and continued punching her until Shawn came out of nowhere and pushed me to the ground. "Get off my sister. What's wrong with you?" He yelled at me. "Boy get tf out my face." I charged towards her but the school officer came and grabbed me. He escorted me to the guidance counselor's office. I looked at Nana to see her bleeding and her left eye was shut. I ate that, I thought to myself.

"So it says here you need to change your address in the system. Is that correct Miss Riley?"the guidance counselor, Mrs. Reid, asked me. "Yes ma'am" "Did you move recently?" "Yes ma-----"My sentence was interrupted as the school police officer dragged Kaitlyn in the office. What happened? I mouthed. She started punching the air, letting me know she just fought somebody. Who? I mouthed. Savannah, she mouthed back. I put my head down and sighed. Then I raised my eyebrows in confusion. How in the world does she know?  "Yes Officer Garrett?" Mrs. Reid said. "This one just fought." Mrs. Reid sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Have a seat Kaitlyn. Can you bring the other young lady Officer Garrett?" "Yes ma'am." "Miss Riley, how about you sit in this desk right here and fill out this form. You'll need to get a parent's signature." "Okay." I got up and walked to the desk connected to hers. I laughed to myself. Kaitlyn wasn't bleeding at all, so I knew she must've won. That's my bestfriend, that's my bestfriend. I mouthed to her.

That fight though.....😁😭
