Chapter 5

Recap:

“Oh honey are you alright?” She asked worried. My mom was the type to worry about everything, I remember when I fell on my bike and scratched my leg my mom let me stay home from school the next day to make sure it wasn't broken but hey, I didn't complain.

“Wait Aiden what happened to you?. She looked at me then back at Aiden.

Man if my mom finds out what I did i'm going to be in huge trouble! then she'll feel bad for Aiden and make me do some of his chores. Which I really don't wanna do, What I look like washing his underwear, he can wash is own damn underwear. no way in hell am I coming close to that walking STD. Never, not in a billion, no trillion, no- I was snapped out of my thoughts by my moms voice. 

"Lexi?" She looked at me raising an eyebrown as if to say 'Have you officially gone crazy?' My eyes widened. 

“Mom, isn't it obvious Aiden was cooking trying to make us dinner , and it exploded on him” I lied.

Aiden looked at me, like I was crazy.

“Is that so?”.

“Yes, mom.” I said trying to look her in the eyes, I'm not a good liar.

“Your lieing.” my eyes widen, she continued.

“Now, I realize that you two don't get along but you guy's are gonna have to try to get along. Now I want you two to apologize to each other.” My mom said in her talk-back-to-me-i'll-make-you-pay voice. She can be really scary when she wants to be.

We didn't say anything, we just stood there too stubborn for one of us to speak up. When Aiden finally said.

“I'm sorry” but I can tell he was lying,

“Great, your forgiven”.

He looked at me, waiting for my apology.

“Bye now” I said waving. He looked at my like 'are you serious?'.

“Lexi” My mom warned.

“Fine, I’m sorry” I said reluctantly.

“Now give each other a hug” My mom said obviously enjoying this.

We gave each other a hug, I wanted to pull back but Aiden wouldn't let go. The hug felt right we fit perfectly. We let go and suddenly I was cold and wanting him to hug me again.

“Now you both are grounded for a week for ruining the house and I want you two clean up this mess.”

With that she went up stairs, leaving Aiden and I alone.

“Well I’m just going to take a shower and leave you to clean this mess” Aiden said going up stairs.

“Oh no, you don’t she said you two as in us.We clean the mess together.” I point to the mess we made. 

I went into the closet and when I came back Aiden took of his shirt revealing his eight pack. I stared longer than I should have.

“Like what you see” He smirked.

I blushed keeping my head down cleaning up the mess we made. I was trying my hardest not to look at his body. After 20 minutes were done cleaning Aiden didn't say a word to me. After taking a shower, putting on deodorant, brushing my teeth and changing into my pajamas. I went downstairs to watch some TV before I knew it, I fell asleep. I felt myself being carried, someone put me on my bed.

“Goodnight Lexi” Aiden said and then he kissed my forehead and walked out.
