10. Costumes: Normal people dress up once a year sometimes twice. Theatre people get to dress up all the time. And feel no shame for it. The costumes are always amazing!
9. Makeup: Theatre kids KNOW makeup. (I don't wear it often but I know lots of tricks and tips on how to wear it and love putting it on for shows!) If you need any help on makeup. Ask us.
8. Music: People work so hard on these amazing songs. That have to be sang love and are not edited to make them sound better.
7. Acting: Unlike movies theatre is live. It is twice as hard to perform in a play than a film. (Although, I still love movies!) Acting is a big part of theatre and helps you in everyday life!
6. Cast Parties: A time to look back on the show and celebrate its success. Food, music, surprises the cast party is a time to have fun!
5. Characters: It's always fun to become your character. Learn your lines and become part of the story.
4. Auditions: Although auditions are nerve racking, they help give you confidence, determination, and experience. If you can't perform at an audition you won't be able to perform at the shows.
3. Rehearsals: Hanging out with friends. Learning songs. Practicing dancing. What's not to like? (Don't answer that;))
2. Shows: OMG!!!!!! Performances are so exciting! :) They are fun to perform! (Let's just say that I live for the shows) :)
1. The People: I know that it sounds cheesy, but I honestly think that the people you meet during plays are the best part. They don't judge you. They understand you. It's nice... My best friend was a techie with me! I have met so many people that I never would have met any other way!
