(Kate’s POV)

“Kate…?”

It’s a familiar voice that I haven’t heard for a long time.

Kaya lumingon ako to see the owner of the voice and didn’t expect who I see. I mean, I expected a

little that it’s him, but I didn’t believe myself with it until I see his face right now.

“MM??!” I said in disbelief.

“So it’s really you Kate!” masayang bati ni MM sa akin at ngayon ay lumapit sa aming direksyion.

Nang makalapit ay nagulat sa greeting gesture niya. He kissed my left cheek and of course I

blushed from that.

“It’s been a long time eh, Kate?” – MM.

“Ehem!” interrupt ni Cecille sa amin. Haha… muntik ko nang makalimutan na may kasama pala

ako. hohoho~ (~,^)v

“A-ah, same here MM, it’s been a long time indeed. Siya nga pala, eto pala mga kaibigan ko, si

Cecille and Eula. Cecille, Eula, si MM, friend ko from my previous school.” pakilala ko sa kanila.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you MM!” all smiles na sabi ni Cecille and offered her hand, which

tinanggap naman ito ni MM, due all courtesy.

“I’m Eula, nice to meet you.” shy namang sabi ni Eula kay MM, and they shook hands too.

“Ummm… are you busy tonight Kate? Can I have dinner with you? You know… catching-up…”

alanganing aya ni MM sa akin. I can tell na guilty pa rin siya sa mga kidnapping incident nangyari sa

akin noon involving his family. But I don’t blame him for that. It’s his father behind those entire

schemes, not him.

Wala naman siguro masama kung makipag-dinner ako kay MM ngayon ‘di ba? At isa pa, I miss

“Umm… sure MM.” I answered him, tapos lumingon ako kina Cecille at Eula. “Girls, una na lang

kayo. See yah tomorrow.”

“Sige Kate, see ya tomorrow and don’t forget to tell us about that story.” paalala ni Cecille.

“Yeah sure, I’ll tell you girls all about it.” I winked at them and they waved goodbye.

“Let’s go.” I told MM.

“Where do you prefer to have a dinner, here in tha mall or somewhere classy restaurant?”

“I prefer here M. Hindi naman ako pwedeng magtagal.” which I thought depressingly. Sana kanina

pa kami nagkita ni MM para naman mahaba-haba ang pagsasama namin ngayon. Ngayon ko pa

nga lang siya nakitang muli after the incident na nangyari sa akin then I heard he went to Texas.
