A/N: Before you get on to reading… In my story there is talk of Drug and Alcohol use, and if this upsets you, I am sorry… my intention isn’t to glorify it by making it come across as “cool”, I was raised around people who drank and others who did use drugs… and it’s a normal thing for me. I am sure there are many of you who think badly about drug and alcohol use and you are right to your opinion, but also keep in mind that I have a right to mine and just like anything there is good and bad in everything you eat, drink or consume.

Sorry for my little rant… I just don’t think I'm a bad person for writing about what’s out there, you know?

As I walked to the den where the guys were I wasn’t surprised to see Blaze with my brother as well as Rhett and Darren. I placed the tray of cookies down only to watch them be devoured in a matter of seconds.

“Well I sure am glad I didn’t want one…” I said sarcastically.

“You want some?” Tucker called out as he pointed to his mouth and showed me the goop in his mouth.

“Ah no, I’ll pass.” I said with disgust.

I went to sit down in the recliner but Bryn beat me to it, with a smile plastered on her face she simply pointed to the space behind me.

I turned around to see that the only spot available was next to the one and only Rhett McHotstuff.

The only way you will know if there is chemistry between the two of you is if you actually have a conversation with Mr. sexy pants. Bryn said through our link.

Thanks Bryn you’re a real pal.

Shae I'm doing you a solid. You will thank me one day.

I made my way over to the love seat, and sat down.

The boys resumed their conversations that they were having before I came in with the plate of cookies, and let me tell you they weren’t interesting at all; cars, girls, and sports.

It didn’t take long for me to blank out, and just as quick as it came it was gone and I watched my brother pull out a weird looking Voss. Before I could comprehend what was going on he put it to his mouth, held a lighter to it and as he sucked smoke filled the neck of the Voss. When he exhaled the skunk smell filled the air from the cloud of smoke that now surrounded us.

I had to look away from my brother. Although they explain some of why they smoked I was still uncomfortable around it. I mean sure I drank and that’s not much better, but I grew up thinking the worst of Drug use and here I was watching my brother smoke.

As if on cue Rhett leaned into me, “You okay?”

“Yea, why wouldn’t I be?” Of course I would try to hide it.

“You know you kind of suck at lying…”

Before I could defend myself, my brother cut in. “Hey Rhett it looks like my dad needs you for something, and asked me to take you to the Betas house.”

I jumped in “Tuck, I can take him so you can ah… stay and finish… I need some air, and was planning on going for a walk anyways.”

“Awesome, thanks sis.”

I stood, followed by Rhett. Bryn was about to stand when I shook my head slightly signaling her to stay. And out of the corner of my eye I caught Rhett doing the same.
