“We’re here.” Sam’s voice broke through my trance of the happy feelings I was having while walking down the road.

“Wow, really that was quick.”

“Its not bad, about a ten minute walk.” She replayed.

“Oh my gosh..” I grabbed her by the shoulder to stop her and turn her to face me. “Sam, I'm so sorry I really didn’t mean to tune you out, that was rude of me. I was just, just so…”

She put her hand up as if to stop me. “Shea it’s ok really. You let your walls down and let me feel your emotions. I understand without you having to explain, it was actually nice. When you’ve lived somewhere your whole life you sometimes forget and un-see the little things that make it really special and you’ve reminded me of the magical allusion that I use to once feel as a kid.”

She grabbed me by the hand and squeezed it once before turning back to the house that we were now standing in front of. If I thought the last house was huge this one was three times bigger than Rhett’s.

“Wow.” Was all I could muster.

“It’s big, huh?”

“It’s… magnificent.”

She smiled and pulled me up to the porch and inside the massive house. Immediately the atmosphere changed from quiet and calm to loud and chaotic. There were kids running around chasing each other and teens lounging on the couches in the sitting room just left of the door. As I followed Sam through the house I noticed every square inch of the house was being occupied with people of various ages doing various activities.

Sam led me to two big wooden doors that were currently closed. And before she had the chance to open them they opened on their own. Well not entirely on their own; there was the guy who locked me up yesterday standing to the side.  I lowered my eyes to the ground, not wanting to meet his knowing that he saw me naked and vulnerable.

Once inside the room, I noticed the large round table that was full of people and the few sofas that offered extra seating were occupied as well. I searched the table for those intoxicatingly blue eyes, and found comfort when I found them staring back at me from the head of the table.

Sam spoke up clearing away the awkward and tense vibes that were emitted into the air.  “I brought you a present big brother!”

He simply smiled. “I see that.”

I couldn’t help but smile as I held his gaze. Someone cleared their throat making my smile immediately disappear. “Alpha, I'm sorry that I interrupted… I had no idea you were in a meeting.” I fled the room faster than anyone’s voice could stop me.
