Part title

Hera's Pov

I walk into Kanans room to see Kanan meditating. Although it seems like he's having a nightmare. I walk over to him and ask "Kanan are you ok?" But he doesn't answer. I gently lay my hand on his shoulder and gently shake him. "Kanan? KANAN!" I yell and he snaps out of it. "Kanan are you ok?" I ask again. "No. I have to go" Kanan says as he rushes off the ghost.

Kanan's Pov

I felt a disturbance in the force. A boy with blue hair running through a field. He was scared. Someone was chasing him. He entered a tower and I lost him. I finally get to the place where I last sensed him. I can see a pair of troopers inside a tower. Their... laughing? I think I see them kicking something but suddenly they go flying out of the tower. I run to the tower and I can't believe what I see. A boy with blue hair like from my vision laying limp in the ground. He's covered in blood and I can see he's covered in cuts and bruises too. The boy suddenly looks up at me. He pulses the force causing me to fly back and hit the wall. I struggle to get up "It's ok I'm Kanan I'm not here to hurt you" I say picking him up. He would be incredibly light if it wasn't for the chains. He try's struggling out of my grip but he's too weak." It's ok I'm not gonna hurt you" I reassure him. that sentence was all it took and the boy was out.

Ezra's Pov

I can't go back. No. I will never go back. I wake up in a cold sweat. Where am I? I see a man talking with a twlic.(is that what Hera is?) He notices I'm awake and he walks over to me. "Who are you" I ask looking around for a possible exit. I know I'm not supposed to talk unless spoken to but for some reason I feel safe. "I'm Kanan" he replies "And who are you?" I stay silent trying to figure Kanan out. "You bounty hunters?" I ask with a growl in my voice. I've delt with bounty hunters before and their not fun. "No. Were rebels fighting the empire. Now who are you?" Kanan asked. "I'm Ezra. What do you want with me" I sighed.
"I want to help you Ezra. You have a gift. And I want to help you control it" Kanan said "Ha! Me? A gift? No one has ever given me a gift before" I say rather rudely. Kanan starts shifting towards me. I try moving back but my chains get caught and I fall off the bed. "Oww" I whisper staying down. I've learned that when you are down you do not get up or master would be angry. Kanan sets me up and I tense at his touch. I'm not used to people touching me when their not beating me. I take a few steps before passing out into Kanan's arms.

Hours later

Kanans Pov
I checked up on Ezra who was still sleeping. "Don't worry Kanan" hera said. "I can't help it. Look at him Hera!
He's wearing chains! He tensed like I was going to hit him Hera! I just...." My voice trails off as Hera pulls me close "I know" Hera whispered. She lets me go and walks out of the room. I sit and watch Ezra. His breathing increases and he starts talking in his sleep. "I won't go back" he cries "I can't go back"
Ezra open his electric blue eyes bolting upwards. He mumbles something before lying back down and falling asleep.
