Empire Day

Ill be going off the episode mostly for this one

Ezra's Pov

We're all at a bar in the capital of Lethal. Kanan and I are sitting at the bar while two Tye fighters take off. The bartender turns the news off as Kanan says, "Tye pilots on search patrols? What's going on?" The bartender replies, "Imperials have locked down the ports and put destroyers in orbit. Its a full planetary blockade."

"Their after a Rodian" Kanan states. "Just be glad their not after us for once" Sabine says walking up to the bar with Hera and Zeb. "With what we have planned for todays parade" Kanan says, "They'll be after us again tomorrow"

"Well." I say hopping off the bar stool, "Your gonna have to do it without me"

"Where do you think your going" Kanan says. "To be alone. Todays not a good day." I say continuing my walk to the door but Kanan grabs my wrist and says "Its empire day Ezra. Its never a good day" Enraged, I rip out of his grip. "Yea? Well todays kinda personal for me" I yell as I run out of the bar.

3rd Pov

Tanks and giant droids march down the road as people, who are mostly forced to, cheer for them. "Ok" Kanan says with an evil smirk "Lets start the celebration" Sabine laughs and replies "Copy that" The new Tye star fighter rolls into view and Kanan says, "Pretty isn't it" Hera claps slowly and says "Yea I almost feel bad about destroying it" "I sense we'll need to make a quick exit" Kanan says nods to Hera as they both run off in different directions.

"Okay when I say now throw this up as high as you can" Sabine says throwing the little beeping object to Zeb.
The beeping gets faster and Zeb asks "now?"
The beeping picks up again and Zeb starts to get nervous "Now?"
The beeping gets really fast and Zeb practically yelled "Now?"
"Now" Sabine says and Zeb gladly throws the bomb in the air. It explodes and beautiful colors fly everywhere

Kanan slips passed the bucket heads and puts two bombs on each side of the new 'Tye star fighter'. Well not new for long anyways. But as Kanan steps back after completing, a bucket head notices him. "You there. This area is off limits" he says pointing his gun at Kanan. Kanan improvises and says, "Did you see it?! Its sooo beautiful. All the colors its like... Uh... like a rainbow!" Suddenly Ezra comes to the rescue by saying "Dad" Ezra felt weird saying that word after not saying it in a long time. "There you are. Sorry officer my dads very patriotic." Kanan seems to get what Ezra's doing and plays along. "Empire day" he yells "I love it! All hail our glorious empire!" The Bucket head seems to buy it cause he says "Yea... Right... Well move along." once Ezra and Kanan are out of earshot Kanan says "Thanks. I never In a million years thought those words would come out of my mouth. Where you been?"

Ezra waves him off and says, "No problem. I've been alone, and for earlier Kanan I'm sorry I snapped at you" Ezra says looking up at Kanan who just smiles reassuringly and says "Its not your fault today just puts everyone on edge" Suddenly the not so new anymore Tye star fighter blows up leaving Ezra in shock.(with his mouth hanging open) "Come on we gotta go" Kanan yells to Ezra. Ezra snaps out of his shock and they both take off for the streets. Sabine and Zeb catch up to them and they all start running together. "Spector two we need a pick up" Kanan says into his comm radio. "Sorry Spector one but I cant" Hera's voice can be heard through the comm.

Ezra's Pov

I sigh. "Come on guys I know a place" I yell and they all follow me. We run for a good while before we get to my old house. Sabine notices something written on it and says, "That's an imperial warning declaring this place off limits. What is this place." I pull out the key card and slid it through the door. "You were coming here today" Kanan states "This was your home. The place you grew up" I open the door all the way and say coldly "I grew up as a slave. Alone" They all enter the building after me and Sabine takes off her helmet. "Then why here. Why now?" she questions."None of your business" I say harshly as I walk over to a cushion(that's what I thought it looked like) and move it. I gasp as I see Zeebo crying. "Zeebo its me. Ezra Bridger." I hear a beep and Zeebo looks up at me then climbs the ladder speaking some strange language. Kanan seems to realize who he is and says, "That's the Rodian the imperials are looking for. You know him?" I sigh knowing that this was coming. "Yea that's Zeebo. Friend of my parents." I sigh again and sit on the dusty couch. "but something wrong what's that thing on his head?" Sabine explains by saying, "The empires been known to implant lower level technicians with cybernetic circuits. personality sacrificed for productivity."

"Zeebo went to work for the information office after my parents were killed" I say a little angry. "Your parents?" Kanan questioned "You... Never told us." I scoff and say "What's to tell. They've been gone practically all my life" Zeebo chimes is by saying something about seven. "Can you figure out what he's saying Sabine" Kanan says a little impatiently. "He's detailing imperial fighter employments on Lethal!" Sabine says excitedly.
