You left the venue, the sound of screaming fans trailing behind you as you rounded the corner. The concert had just finished, and after two hours of being surrounded by girls screaming for the members of the band. You however, were feeling horrendous. You were having an awful day – caught in the rain while waiting in the queue for three hours to meet the band; your heel had broken clean off of your shoe; and you could barely hear the boys singing because of all the screams.

You had been looking at your feet, crying in frustration because of everything that had happened that day, just about ready to give up, when you felt yourself walk right into someone.

"Oh, sorry! I didn't see you there! Are you alright?"

The boy you had walked into smiled at you, bending down slightly to look at your face. You nodded your head slightly, with a sniffle, not recognizing the voice at first.

"What's wrong?", he started, gently tilting your face upwards to meet with yours.

You stared at him slightly, your eyes wide as you realised who it was you had bumped into. Dayl Cronin, a member of the band you had just gone to see, was standing in front of you, and you had just managed to walk yourself straight into his back.

"I-I...", you started to speak, unable to find the words right away, "I'm fine, thank you". You smiled at him slightly, trying to keep yourself calm as you spoke to him.

He smiled back, gently wrapping his arms around me tightly in a hug. He cuddled me close, in a comforting way, and you couldn't help but smile.

"What's your name, hun?"

"Caitlin", you responded. "I was actually just in the concert, but, I didn't think I should wait around to meet you, I figured I wouldn't."

Dayl chuckled, his smile lighting up his entire face, "Well, you've met me now, so I think I proved you wrong there, didn't I?"

You nodded, smiling slightly as you tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear.

"Well then, Caitlin, are you busy right now? Have anywhere you need to be?"

"Erm...not really, no. I'm just on my way back to my hotel, actually."

He smiled again, and you couldn't help but smile back. He was easily your favourite of the six members – the other guys were all gorgeous, and lovely as well, but there was something special about Dayl. He was different, almost, in a good way, and now, standing with him and talking, you couldn't help but notice the butterflies in your stomach.

"In that case, the lads and I are off to get a McDonald's before we go back to our hotel, you could always come along with us if you'd like?"

You felt your face flush again, blushing as Dayl asked you. Did he really just ask you out? You couldn't help but smile now, Dayl seemed to know all the right things to cheer you up today.

"I'd love to. Thank you."

He smiled again, holding his hand out to you. You gently held his hand in yours, feeling his fingers close around your palm as the two of you walked around to the back of the venue. Smiling to yourself, you thought about the horrible day you had earlier, and realised that Dayl had just single-handedly turned it all around for you. He truly was an amazing guy, and you learned that more and more during dinner.

The two of you exchanged phone numbers at the end of the night, Dayl had wanted to make sure you were ok in the morning, and told you to text him if you needed anything. He kissed your cheek before leaving, and when you laid down in your bed that night, you couldn't believe what had happened. Dayl had not only cheered you up, which is more than you ever expected, but he had also asked you out, taken you for dinner, and treated you like a princess. You shook your head, checking your phone as it went off. It was a text from Dayl, which surprised you.

You quickly texted a response, almost squealing in delight as you set your phone down beside you. Dayl liked you, and wanted to see you again, and you couldn't possibly wait.
