It is time for me and Collin to head to 2nd period.
When we get in the hallway we start to talk.
"I am truly sorry about earlier."
"Skylar. I said don't worry about it."
"But anyways, we never got to talk about what you like Collin. So, what do you like?
"Geez, um, my favorite color is green, my favorite food is pizza with NO pepperoni, favorite thing to do is draw, play basketball, and play my trumpet."
"Cool." I say.
"So. Why did you volunteer to push me around?"I ask out of no where.
"Well I didn't want to, but no one else raise their hands and I felt bad. So I volunteered and I'm glad I did. I am usually shy but for some reason I connect with you like I have known you forever."
"I know exactly how you feel. I do the same thing with raising my hand and I agree. I am usually shy but I connected with you."
I smile. I open my compact mirror. I act like I am checking my hair. Really I am seeing if he is smiling. He is smiling really big. So I smile really big. I close my mirror.
We arrive at class and he gets his books and takes his seat by me.
"I forgot to remind you earlier that you wanted to take a selfie with me later."
"I forgot about that!" Thank you!" I said. I want a selfie on my tablet since I don't have a phone.
Class starts and I give him a smile and pull out my stuff for this class.
