I wake up hours later in the hospital. Collin is there. So is Caleb. But not my dad. He doesn't love me or even know me enough to want to come here.
"Collin she's awake!" Caleb said.
He rushed towards me and he grabbed my hand.
I tried to say 'what happened' but no sound came out. I was able to scream though.
I kept trying and trying and I couldn't. Then I felt a sharp pain in my head. I reach for and and I hold my head. I try to talk to them and say it hurt but I couldn't. I groaned. It's what I can do to tell them about this.
"Skylar!" Caleb says. "What's going on!" Collin get nurses as Caleb tries to talk to me. As the seconds tick by my head pain gets worse. I am crying it hurts so bad.
The nurses rush in and start hooking me up to machines and an IV.
They start pumping stuff into me. I feel it run through my body. I try to read the bag. All I see is An-- s-r--.
I blacked out again.

I wake up. I try to speak again and I can.
"Caleb. What's going on with me?" I said as best as I could.
"Skylar!" He said walking in.
"What's going on?" I asked again.
Collin chimed in "I was talking to you in homeroom and all of a sudden you stopped speaking and you looked sick. Then you blacked out. Then we took you here."
"Why couldn't I speak?"
Caleb said. "They said they found a syrum inside you. It's a new one. We have never seen it before."
I nod. I lay back down. Caleb and Collin sit at my sides and I relax.
