joe.
he was wearing a snap back with his brown hair sticking out of it. he was also wearing a pair of jeans with a black t-shirt. he was a cutie. all the guys looked me up and down; usually what happens. they all scattered and found other girls and people to talk to.
but joe didn't. he just stood there, next to Jacob and Jess. I went up to them, and then it happened.
Joe and I made direct eye contact. his eyes were a blue green. a really pretty blue.
I could feel myself blushing and I broke the eye contact.
"hi, Maddie," he says with a stern tone,
he smiles with such a grin, I smile back.
"hey, your Joe right?" I say with certainty it was him.
he smirks, "yeah. so how do you know Jess?"
"well she's my cousin. how do you know Jacob?" I say sharpingly.
"cousin huh? well I've known Jacob my whole life pretty much, we've been mates since kindergarten. I don't know how he's kept up with me all these years." he chuckles.
"you don't seem like a handful, you seem like the opposite, nice and sweet..." I say blushing.
"well, Maddie, let's talk more about each other over a drink?"
"why not, you are pretty cool." I smile when i say this, he smiles bigger than before.
