Chapter Five: YouTube

joes POV
Jacob and I arrived to the house. the house was small, yet seemed cozy. a green house with stone finishings, and a blue door.

we rang the doorbell and Jess answered. she was wearing a skater dress with black flats.
it was nice, but all we were doing was hanging out, she seemed over dressed.

"hey babe", she says to Jacob.
"she's in her room," she exclaimed to me.

maddies POV
i heard a knock on the door. I knew it was them.

I came downstairs and went into the kitchen.

Jess and Jacob passed the kitchen to go into Jess' room,

Joe comes into the kitchen.

he looks at me up and down but then at my eyes, and I look at him.
he comes close, but doesn't say anything.
I could feel his breath on my face. I could smell his cologne. he looks me deep in the eye and says,
"I've missed you so much Mad, you have no idea," quoting my text.
he smirks, and comes closer and grabs my hips.

I blush and put my arms around his neck.
he puts a piece of my long blonde hair behind my ear, and locks his gaze into mine.

we stood there which felt like forever yet was only a few minutes. I could stare into green eyes forever.

I studied his details in his face. the smirk he had on, his little freckles here and there. I was dying inside and I just wanted him to hug me and kiss me forever.

I break the silence because I needed to control myself before things go too fast. to be honest, so many emotions were running through my head.

I whisper in his ear, "movie??"

we break out of our trance
we walk to the living room and chose the movie, "paranormal activity", I snuggle up against him, not too close but close enough for me to hear his breathing.

"Joe,"

"yes m"

"what do you do for a living?"

Joes POV:
im still a little dazed from our stare out, I loved every moment of it and I could have stood there forever and ever looking into her eyes.

those beautiful blue eyes.

but then she asked me a question I forgot all about.

my job.

I don't know how she'll react when I tell her, or maybe she already knows.

either way I don't know what's going to happen to this little whatever you call it.

I answer a moment later. stomach all in knots,

"I do YouTube."

I pause to see her reaction.

she doesn't stop looking at the screen.

she raises an eyebrow and asks without hesitation,
"oh, I've tried that. didn't really work out for me. people just were so rude and cruel that I had to sign off. a lot of people want me to keep going with it but i don't know..." she pauses and gasps.

"I've never told anyone any of that," she says with disbelief.

she finally stops looking at the movie and looks up at me. I can tell I have a huge smirk on.

she blushes and comes closer to me.
I can feel my heart racing.

she feels so comfortable with me as I do with her. what has this girl done to me!
I've only known her for a week but it feels like it's been forever.
