Chapter Nine: Wrong Idea

Joe's POV:
"she's something else." Caspar says to my surprise.

"yeah she is.." I say with confusion.

then Caspar was gone, ran upstairs faster than when the pizza man is arrives with his favorite pizzas. weird.

I finally find more blankets and put back all the weird crap I found earlier. except the Polaroid camera from before. I look at the horrific photo that was taken my Maddie, and tuck it in my night stand drawer along with the camera.

I walk up stairs to my surprise Caspar and Josh weren't around.

Maddie sees this and says, "they went out to get some snacks and popcorn since we have none."

I nod and begin to walk over to the kitchen to make some tea for myself and Maddie.

"and uh Joe..?" Maddie says with a worried tone.

"yes love."
"well it's just, i don't know. it's Caspar and Josh. they should know about us cause.."

I look at Maddie who's having a hard time getting the words out.

I walk over to her and lifted her chin with my finger.

"babe, don't worry. We'll tell them soon enough. Caspar and Josh wouldn't do anything before talking about it with me, bro code."

she laughs at this, and I peck her cheek then her lips, I walk back to the kitchen where the tea pot is whistling.

I make each of us a cup and sit down next to her. we sip away and everything just feels so perfect. little did I know what came ahead.

*about 20 minutes later*

we hear the boys chatting away at the door. they both come in bearing many bags of what looks like sweets.

"we come bearing gifts!" Josh exclaims.

I laugh at the stupid remark and get up to see what they had bought.

I open one of the bags to see all different kinds of sweets, dark chocolate, marshmallows, some American candy and Canadian candy, I guess they figured out that Maddie's both American and Canadian.

"oooo! kit-kats! my favorite!" Maddie says squealing as she picks up the candy.

" I had a feeling you just might.." Caspar says.

"thank you guys!" she says giving them a group hug.

"yet, where's the one thing you went out for?" I say with pretending to be snobby, " where's the bloody popcorn?"

"ah shit I knew we were forgetting something!" Josh says.

I snort at this, then I hear a frail voice speak, "uh Joe, Oli might swing by later, care to come join? we're making some kind of collab video." Caspar says kindof sheepish looking at me then Maddie then back to me.

"uh yeah sure why not." i say without hesitation, "now, let's take our goodies and start actually watching a movie."

Maddie laughs and adds in, "yeah, i wanna see what other goods you boys have bought."

*about 15 minutes into the movie*

"so Maddie, what town did you grow up in? if you don't mind me asking." Cas says out of no where.

"I'm from Augusta, Maine. I grew up their till I was about 15 that's when my mom passed away," she paused, "and my dad sent me to my aunts cause he didn't know how to really raise me even though I was only 3 years away from being eighteen and I would then go to college."

"oh well I very sorry to hear about your mum. it must have been hard." Caspar says with sympathy.

I knew about this, and I was surprised Maddie was so open when she did tell me. it was only the first week into this "thing" at the time yet she thought it was better to tell me straight away. another thing I love about her.

"thanks, and yeah it was difficult at first," as she takes a sip of her tea.

during this time Josh has gone to the Lou and now is back. but behind Maddie who's next to me on the sofa and decides to scare her. but at the totally wrong time.

"BOOO!" Josh says shaking her shoulders.

"ahh!" Maddie says as hot tea is spelt all over her. "you dick!" she says with a mad yet playful manner. both me and Caspar spring up from our seats.

"I'll get you a sweatshirt to wear." I say instantly. seeing her entire shirt is soaked.

"I'll get you rag to get some of the tea off." Cas says, looking at her very wet shirt that makes now an outline of her bra.

Maddie doesn't say a word but she gets up.

I run downstairs.

Maddie's POV:
"thank you Caspar." I say as he gives me a rag to dab myself with.

he helps by dabbing my shirt with his own rag.

he pulls my shirt off my shoulder to show my bare skin. he begins to dab slower and slower. I become uncomfortable and stop dabbing my shirt.

he begins to pat little kisses on my shoulder up to my neck. I react instantly and take a step away from Caspar.

"I can't Caspar." I say with a wobbly voice, taking another step away from him.

he just stares at me and takes a step closer. but then Joe comes upstairs with one of his sweatshirts and a t-shirt.

"alright here you go."

I don't say a thing but look at the clothing. I smile at him.

"hey what did I miss?" Joe says looking at both of us.

"oh nothing. thank you so much for the clothes. imma go change". I say while walking away.

I don't know what happened when I was changing. but when I came back, Josh and Caspar were gone, and Joe was mad, more than mad. furious.
