Joe and I had gotten to known each other a lot over the next week. that night, I would have to say was one of the best night of my life.
joe had taken me back to my aunts house and had hugged me so tight I thought he would never let go.
today I would see him again. Jess had invited him and Jacob over. Jacob and him would have to stay the night since they would leave from our house to the city the next day and our house is closer rather than going all the way back to theirs.
Joe's POV
I can see her again today. oh the way she made my stomach twist and turn, I hadn't had that in a very long time.
Jess said to come over at 2 but that seemed so far away.
I needed to see her.
now.
I shoot her a text saying:
"i can't wait to see you again."
my stomachs in knots,
what if she doesn't want to see me?
what if she thinks the other night was absolutely terrible, and that she's dreading seeing me again.
but then my phone buzzes.
on the screen it says,
"joe, you have no idea."
I begin to relax.
maybe this might actually work.
Maddies POV
it's only 1 and Joe will be here at 2.
I needed to get somewhat ready and presentable.
maybe Joe likes dressy girls like Jess, but maybe he likes girls who wear oversized t-shirts and shorts all day.
I decided to be the me I wanted to be.
I put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt saying "believe".
I can hear my phone buzz from over on my dresser. it's a message from Joe!
it reads, "I can't wait to see you."
my hearts skips a beat and I get that feeling in my stomach again.
he can't wait to see me.
I can't believe this, but I didn't want to bring my hopes up.
I text back,
"Joe, you have no idea."
this next hour couldn't go by slow enough.
