"Really?" I say happily. I just want someone my age to talk to about all of this. Even if it is a boy. "Yep." She says, "I'll walk you over there." She turns to mom and dad. "You to watch for the U-HAULS." "You got it mom," dad says to Grandma.

As we walk down the street, I look down and realize that my $900 Pink Prada Tennis Shoes are muddy and sopping wet. I decide not to say anything, I don't want to sound snobby. After a short walk, we arrive a Green Victorian house. Grandma and I walk up the wooden stairs. She rings the doorbell and we hear footsteps and dog barking. A woman in Cackie pants and a blue ruffled shirt answers the door. "Susie!" She says and hugs Grandma. "Hello, Sharon. This is my Granddaughter Madison I've been telling you about." "Wow shes even more beautiful than the pictures you showed me!" "Thanks" I say and shake her hand. "I can't wait for you to meet Garret!", she tells me. "GARRET"! She yells up the stairs. "WHAT?" He yells back. "COME SEE MADISON" "WHO?" "THE PRETTY GIRL FROM THE PICTURES!" "COMING!" I hear loud footsteps. Then, I see him. He is even better looking than Parker. He has Short Brown hair and beautiful Green eyes. He is dressed in Dark Blue Jeans and a Green Nike tee shirt. Oh. My. God. I'm staring. I look away as fast as I can. I realize that he's staring at me to. I don't feel as bad now. Grandma is getting excited, I think she knows we're staring at each other. "Garret, this is Madison.Madison, this is Garret." "Lets leave these two on the porch", Grandma says to Sharon. "Hi, I'm Madison. "Yeah, I heard," he says to me. We're both quiet for a second. "I'm going to be going to John Hughes High tommorw", this is the only thing I can think to say. "Really? Me too." "Can I ask you a fav---. He interrupts me mid sentence. "Of course I'll help you out tommorw." "How'd you know I was going to ask that?" "I'm just that good." We both crack up laughing. We both sit there talking until sunset. We talk about cars, teachers and the people at both of our schools. After a while, Grandma walks out if the house and says its time to leave. As we walk down the steps, I tell him we'll meet at the bus stop in morning. He agrees.

On the short walk home, Grandma and I start talking. "So, how'd you like him?" She asks me. "All I have to say is wow." She laughs.

When we get into the house, It is just like I remember it. Dad tells me that my room is upstairs on the left. I walk up the stairs, turn left and see my new bedroom. It is about the same size as my old room and everything is in the same place. I get into my PJ'S and set my alarm. The time is... 11:30??? No. Way. We left Grandma's house at 4:30. Wow. I into bed think about Garret. He was so helpful and funny. Before I go to sleep, I wonder why I ever liked Parker. Probably because, he was the Captain of every football team he played on and every single girl at my old school liked him. I guess just went with the flow.

I wake up at 3:00 AM. I can't go back to sleep. I get up and use the bathroom. I come back and see the bag with Parker's hoodie. I think I'm done with him. I grab his sweatshirt and tip toe d down the stairs. I find Grandma's Heinz Mustard. I smear it all over it, and stuff it in the trash. I feel so much better. Especially after talking to Garret for so long. Maybe I'll get one of his hoodies someday.
