Garret and Madison are now passing Garret's house. The couple passes a few more houses and eventually they get to the woods. "Where are we going"?, Madison asks him. He smiles at her and says, "You'll find out."
After a short walk they arrive at a tree house deep in the woods. Madison has never seen anything like this in her life. The tree house has a balcony and a little door. "You go first.", he says. "That way if you fall I'll catch you."
"I don't need catching.", I tell him.I begin to climb up the rope ladder.
I get about half way up and I start to slip. I can't hold on! I'm falling! The next thing I know I'm in Garret's arms. "Are you sure you don't need catching?", he says with a smile. We both crack up laughing. He gives me a piggy back ride up the ladder. I don't have to hold on that tight because, I know he won't drop me.When we get up to the balcony, he lets me off his back. We are both too tall to walk up there so, we crawl. Garret opens up the small little door and we both crawl inside. "This is my safe place.", he tells me. " I grew up here." " Wow". I say as I look around. There are posters of Superheroes stapled to the wooden walls, a small desk only a 7 year old could fit in and a tiny window. We both crawl over to the window. "I've never brought anyone up here before. ", he said. All I can do is blush as we look out the window. It starts to rain. "We should probably go", he tells me. "Yeah'', I say.
He gives me another piggy back ride on the way down the ladder. He carries me all the way back to my house.
