Hey readers!:D Im going to apologize in advanced because of two reasons. First, this chapter is going to be a filler chapter and wont be that intense. And secondly, it will be shorter than usual because I'm starting a new story today SO all in all this will not be the best chapter...Please bear with me here and don't run away after this horrible chapter. Again, thanks for reading, commenting, and voting. Please continue to read, comment, and vote if you still enjoy this story and Veronica Roth owns the Divergent Series so credit for her stuff goes to her!! Thanks for reading!!

 STOP!! HOLD UP! WAIT! I promised someone I would do this so seriously go check out @dreamcatcher4ever stories because trust me- its worth it.

~~~~~Chapter 17~~~~~~
"How's he doing?" Collin walks up to me slowly with a whole muffin in one hand and a half of one in the other hand.
I am sitting in the hallway across from the closed room that belongs to my father. I am hugging my knees with my head resting against them. People keep walking past me, unaware of the girl curled up from exhaustion.
"Hey Collin," I look up and stretch out my legs. "The doctor said he will be fine and back to normal in a few days. They just gave him some serum that numbs the pain and makes him kind of loopy. The doctor said it's supposed to make him tired and it heals the wound quicker but obviously there is a side effect. So pretty much, don't go in there."
"Good, I guess." Collin chuckles. He sits down beside me and holds out his hand with the uneaten muffin.
"Muffin?" he asks with a smile. I stare at the muffin before giving in. I have eaten barely anything since my dad got shot and that was two days ago.
We sit in silence for a few minutes eating our muffins. I watch the nurses walk past carrying papers and sometimes helping a patient walk around. Every once in a while, I'll see a shadow move under my dad's door. For a second, I hear his voice and my mom laughs at something he said. The serum is making him more talkative than usual.
"So Ella," Collin breaks the silence. "The way your helped dad back there, it was really, uh, brave."
I look at him with an eyebrow raised.
"What are you talking about?" I say, amusingly. "All I did was stop the bleeding and he almost died."
"Ella, you know what the doctor told me yesterday when you were asleep?" Collin asks but doesn't let me say anything before he continues. "She told me that if you hadn't stopped the blood, he would have died and they wouldn't  have had enough time to save him. So "all you did" saved your dad's life and I think it was really brave."
I do not reply back but I just stare at Collin's eyes to see if he is lying. I am not even sure what I am feeling. Scared and sad that my dad could have died? In awe and happy that Collin really thinks I'm brave and saved my dad's life? I have so many mixed emotions that I cannot find any words.
Slowly, a smile creeps onto my face and I cannot help but gently elbow him.
"Whatever, softie." I say remembering the night on the train when I called him that. He glares at me but I laugh which makes him smile and laugh too.
"Shut up." he grumbles but I know he is joking because he can barely hold in his laugh. After he few seconds, he becomes serious again and looks at me nervously. My smile disappears as soon as I see his facial expression.
"What did your dad say to you?" Collin asks me. I knew what he was going to say before he even asked.
"No," I shake my head. "Not here."
I look up at al the cameras in the hallway. I know people are watching us at all hours and there is only one place I know of where there is no cameras. A place my dad showed me when I was little. I remember exactly what he told me that day.
