Ohmehgehd all the Skylox
And I GUESS Merome XD3rd person
Sky looked up at the huge tent. It was purple with red stripes. "COME SEE THE MONSTERS OF THE NIGHT!" An announcer yelled at the entrance. For all the years Sky's come to this carnival, hes never seen this. "Come one Sky! Lets go see it!" His friend, Mitch yelled, dragging him threw the crowd. "WE'VE GOT LIZARDS! THING'S WITH GIZZARDS! THINGS THAT CREEP! OR CRAWL! OR CAW!" The announcer continued. Sky followed, "I-is this like a freak show type thing?" Mitch shrugged, "I think so!" Mitch and Sky paid the man to enter -Instead of using tickets, which Sky thought was strange-. "Fifteen bucks!? This better be good." Sky grumbled. Mitch ignored him, finding two empty seats in the third row. They both sat down, Sky fuming. He didn't exactly....have a nice night. He lost half his tickets, had a fat women sit on him, and he dropped his cotton candy! "READY FOR THE SHOW TO START!?" A man appeared at the center. He had black hair and stuck up in different directions, and bright red eyes. "Contacts." Sky hissed to himself. The crowd roared. "HAHA! WELCOME TO THE-" He paused, fire suddenly blazed in a ring around him, "FREAK SHOW!" "Hey you were right!" Mitch laughed. Sky was always a septic of this kind of things. "Lets start with something small!" The man laughed, the fire disappearing. "Introducing! The Twirling Hybrids!" To people ran out from somewhere in the back. One male, the other female, both had silver hair and wore silver clothing. They looked normal, except for the fact that both had cat ears and a tail! "Fake." Sky yawned. Mitch slapped his shoulder, "Stop it! I personally like this." Sky rolled his eyes, boredly watching the 'cats' do back flips over each other and bend in impossible angles. When they were done, the crowd cheered. "NOT ENOUGH!?" They cheered louder. Wolf hybrid came out next, fighting each other. "Fake." Sky hissed. Then a snake hybrid, holding many large snakes and dancing with them. "Fake." Then, a full furred hybrid came out. It had black eyes and was growling, a red tie around it's neck. "Ooo!" Mitch grinned. "Obliviously a fur suit." The boy whispered, rolling his eyes. "This great BACCA will now jump threw the RING OF FIIIRE!" One of those fire hoops was set up, fire blazing around it. The hybrid, the 'Bacca' didn't move. The ring leader glared at it, pulling out a whip. He cracked it near the hybrid."Move!" "It's an act!" Sky wanted to scream. Mitch watched the scene, his expression changing. He didn't move, so the man whipped his back. To Sky's surprise, it bellowed, blood bubbling out. "This...is this an act?" Sky wondered aloud. It finally moved, running to the ring and leaping threw. When it landed, it's leg was on fire. It screamed. It screamed loudly in Pain! Mitch gasped, "That isn't right!" "Just an act ladies and gentleman!" The ring leader yelled with a laugh. The crowd bought it. The creature was dragged out by a handler. By three. None tried putting the flames out. Sky didn't have a snarky comment to say about that. "And for our final act! Give it your all for-" Someone was pushed out, "THE FEARED DRAGON OF TH END!" The spot light shined on him. Reveling a scrawny looking, quite pale, boy with huge wings coming from his back! It had a tail, a set of black ears laid back, his mouth in a snarl. Sky thought it was fake, except for the fact that it's legged were bent backwards in an unnatural way. Like you'd expect a velocirator, or something. Sky frowned at it. The creature looked scared, growling and swiping it's claws at anyone coming close. "Watch it fly!" The announcer yelled. The hybrid didn't move, his purple eyes glaring at him. He mumbled something, Sky faintly heard 'Guess you need to be punished'. The man pulled out a whip, cracked it repeatedly against it's chest and wings. Blood slipped down. "This is all fake! Right?" Sky hissed to himself. Mitch was in shock, gaping at what was happening. He no longer cheered. Finally, the hybrids wings snapped open, and it lifted up from the ground. "Haha! NOW WATCH IT FLY!" The creature flew around the area, making loops and sharp turns. Then it stopped at the center, opening his mouth. The lights shut off. A purple flame coming from his mouth. It illuminated the entire area. Sky's mouth dropped open. It stopped and the beast held it's arms out. A flame instead appeared there. He smirked and threw it towards the ring leader. With a gasp, he jumped away. The flaming ball hit the ground, a small explosion happening where it landed. The creature landed, flipping his hair and walking away with a smirk. The Ring Leader glared as it went, "And that's the show, hope you enjoyed!" Everyone, including the two boys, exited the area. "That wasn't fake!" Mitch yelled angrily. "Y-yeah...it's impossible to do something like that!" Mitch agreed, then paused, seeing just behind the tent, a few cages, "Lets bust them out." He whispered. "What!? Are you insane!?" "If it is real, then those people are hurting. No one wants to be in a place like that!" Hesitantly, Sky said, "Alright. Lets do it."
They left the carnival, coming back hours later into the night. Each held a flash light. The slinked along the wall, towards the tent. No one was there, surprisingly. They stopped just at the edge of the ring of cages. Sky gasped, seeing everyone of the hybrids there. There were eight in all. The two cats. The Snake hybrid. A girl with black wings and a beak. The two wolves that fought. The Bacca and finally, the dragon. Sky and Mitch sneaked to the first one. The cats. They both hissed in surprise and fear. "It's okay, we're breaking you out." The male purred. "Where's the keys?" Mitch asked. The girl pointed at a table, "They should be there." A few other hybrids watched them. Some simply stayed in the corner. Sky grabbed the keys, wondering what idiot would leave them laying around. Quickly, he unlocked the first cage. The cats thanked them, running away quickly. The bird hybrid gasped, "Hurry boy hurry!" He unlocked her cage, she instantly bursted out and into the air in a flurry of feathers. Sky unlocked the snakes. "Thankssss." He whispered, hopping out, he quickly grabbed his snakes from the cage and simply walked away. Next he opened the wolves cage, both snarled at him and ran in different directions. Mitch stood in front of the Bacca Cage. Sky went to open it, but gasped, seeing the hybrid. He had multiple thin, long lashes across its body. "He's wounded!" Mitch gasped, snatching the key and opening it quickly. "Mitch!" Sky hissed, freaking out as he climbed into the cage. "I'm just helping it." He said quickly. Sky was worried it would attack. He watched anxiously as Mitch took his jacket off, gently wrapping it around the creature. All that it did was growl slightly. Sky hesitated, grabbed the keys from the lock and going to the last. His eyes widened, this one was worst. The dragon hybrid. "Oh my god." He gasped. He was curled in a ball in the corner, his wings ripped, a large gash in his tail. Multiple lashes, cuts and burns littered his body. He unlocked the cage. He glanced at Mitch, who managed to get the Bacca out of the cage and to sit on the ground. He shuddered, crawling into the cage. He understood why Mitch did it. They were helping after all, right? Sky hesitated again, but continued until he was beside the hybrid. He reached is hand out to gently nudge it. But the hybrid snarled and jumped up, slashing his claws across his face. Sky yelped loudly, scrambling backwards. Blood slipped from the wound. Sky opened his eyes and looked at the hybrid. He was the farthest away from Sky a he could be, eyes wide with fear. He was scared. "It's okay," Sky whispered, "I'm here to help. I wont hurt you." He held out his hand. The hybrid flinched, growling softly and starring at him. However, when it found nothing harmful, he hesitantly took his hand. Sky smiled softly, "You don't like it here, right?" He nodded, tail curling around his leg. "Then come with me, please. I'll take care of you."m The hybrid smiled slightly, "R-really?" Sky nodded. The dragon moved closer to the boy, slowly of course. Sky slid out, helping the other out as well. The dragon hybrid hissed slightly, leaning against the boy. "What's your name?" Sky asked quietly. "Enderlox." He simply said, looking at Mitch wearily. "My name's Sky. That's Mitch, he wont do anything." Sky smiled. Mitch got up, the Bacca beside him. "This is truly an awful place." He whispered, looking at the state the Enderlox was in. Sky was about to agree when both hybrids stiffened and snarled. In a flash, the Bacca grabbed Mitch and ran. SKy was about to scream for him to stop, when Enderlox grabbed him too. "THE CAGES ARE OPEN!" "THE HYBRIDS ARE GONE!" people entered the tight ring of cages. They seen the two boys, "STOP RIGHT THERE!" Enderlox growled. "W-what do we do?" Sky gasped, not expecting to get caught. "Only one way out." His wings snapped open, and he shot into the air.
This one wasn't that good, but oh well! :3
