Aubri's last name, Ramos, was chosen as a tribute to a lesser-known 9/11 hero, Harry Ramos, who was killed in the collapse of the North Tower. Ramos could have easily escaped (the entire rest of his company did), but he chose to stay and help a heavyset stranger who had given up.
