Two Minds was supposed to be called Rise of Zalixet, but I changed the title so it wasn't a dead giveaway and contained a certain degree of mystery.
Seriously, I couldn't title it Rise of Zalixet; that would be like if Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire were titled Harry Potter and Voldemort's Return or if Allegiant were named Tris's Sacrifice. (Sorry if I just seriously spoiled this for anyone)
Two Minds itself is meant to emphasize the struggle Jayveer feels during this book between himself and his dark side that is taking over. "It's like I have two minds," he says in the book. "One pushing me forward, the other pulling me back. And it's getting harder to keep track of which is which."
